It was my first time at a Hand and Stone. I have been to many spas and the rooms and the table you lay on at Hand and Stone were not anything special. I wasn't uncomfortable, but I wasn't cozy. I was also surprised that there was no robe or wrap to wear during my facial.

This was the third time I have had to reschedule an appointment due to a problem with a massage therapist. With the rewards program I have had to "stack" my appointments to make the benefit of being a rewards member worth it.

Esthetician rushed my service. Her hand movements were short and jerky, not relaxed and smooth. This was a very tense facial. Never experienced this here before.

Please stop requiring me to complete those intake forms for each appointment. Let me sign a waiver and be done with it. I use the same three therapists when I come and they all know me and I know them. They are redundant for me and I prefer to not complete them. I understand you need to cover Hand & Stone but offer those of us who don't want to fill it out each time a waiver so we are all covered.

Biggest reason has been the length of each visit. I've noticed each one slowly going down to more 50 to 45 minutes long, and I even had one that was just above 40 minutes. The 40 minute massage, I was called back almost 10 minutes past massage time, we talked for a minute about where to focus on and then I had a few minutes to change. By the time the massage stated, it was almost 15 minutes past appointment time, and ended at the 55 minutes past the hour mark, making it barley a 40 minute massage. I've noticed almost all my massages ending lately at the 50 minutes past the hour, and between thr greeting and changing, you are lucky to get a 45 min massage. $80 a month for 45 minutes is starting to not be worth a membership.

The facial was fine. Not great, not horrible but probably wouldn't get another one. There was no explanation of what was being done or description of the service and the total time was at most 30 minutes
