Hand and Stone

After I used the restroom, I was not told to come back to the waiting area. Other than that, I had a great experience at Hand & Stone. Hilary was very friendly & knowledgeable.

My services of a massage and facial were great. My only complaint was what I charged. I was supposed to receive an introductory rate since I was a new client. Since I was using a Spa Finder gift card I was charged full price. This was not something I knew about prior to my appointment and it left a bad taste in my mouth as to the fact that my new client rate was not acknowledged.

I added extra services but did not realize it was going to cut from my original scheduled service. I thought each service gets additional time

I brought someone else in to get a massage, neither of the technicians introduced themselves, I had to ask the receptionist when providing a gratuity for them. I also feel like my facial was quick, I know dress time is factored in but I have received pleny of services before and this felt quick and there wasnt a long consultation in the beginning.

I wish there were more massage availabilities in the afternoon. I would like a more firm pressure during the massage instead of a light rub. There is nothing else I would recommend.

Massage was good. I needed more pressure and time on the upper back area just below the neck area I had mentioned this to the massage therapist after she asked what area I’d like to concentrate on. Good massage just needed more time and pressure in this area ass I had knots and fatigue build up there.

The massage therapist, the staff at Smithtown are very friendly and helpful. Always feel welcome.

Wasn’t thrilled with my therapist. Didn’t ask what areas to work on. Wore gloves. Never asked pressure was ok. Had her music on and couldn’t relax

I really did not enjoy the first few minutes of the session being up sold on services and given tiers of options to spend more. It was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. If I had wanted to upgrade I would have asked before I booked. It felt like a sales pitch and would deter me from going again.
