Hand and Stone

While the massage therapist service was satisfactory, I didn't find her at all personable. She didn't smile or try to have a conversation. Her technique was very good, but her hands were ice cold. I didn't say anything about this as I'm not sure what could have been done, but it was unusual and a bit uncomfortable. Also, the sheets seemed paper thin and not at all soft. I've had many massages in the past at different establishments and haven't experienced these things I've mentioned. In addition, I mentioned to her that I have motion sickness and needed something for underneath my head/neck, like a rolled up towel (that's what other places do for me). I had to remind her again, and she then put the face piece from the table underneath my head (which kept sliding out). I guess a towel was too much to ask for? But, as I've said, her technique was very good, so this is a mixed review of sorts.

The lotion was ice cold. It took awhile to get used to it. I couldn’t relax fast enough because of this. Eventually I got used to it. I commented to the therapist but she didn’t take any action to address the situation.

The massage was rushed and it felt that way the whole time. It was upsetting. The actual massage was maybe 45 min. I think the prior massage went long and mine got rushed to get back on schedule. I do not understand why the masseuse needs to wait outside the room with water. It just delays the whole thing. Someone from the desk could do that. If the person falls asleep or is slow that delays the next person. The masseuse normally leaves me with a warm towel and that did not happen because the he did not have enough time. That's what he said.

I don’t seem to notice much difference in my skin. Some appointments I’ve had have also been a shorter time than it should be. However, everyone is always friendly and helpful.

I was on vacation so it is highly unlikely I will return in 90 days or refer someone to this hand and stone.

I felt that the therapist talked too much. She also didn’t really whisper when she talked… the lighting in the room was dimmed and then brightened and dimmed. Just caught me off guard. She also stated she used lotion instead of oil…I was expecting massage oil and wasn’t asked if I had a preference. The massage overall was nice and felt good and I was relaxed…but the trouble areas I wanted focused on I felt were not focused on as much as I would have preferred.

I like it but I did after so long. So I couldn't see any rustic change but I liked your service. I will try to keep continuing.

Fire alarm was blaring for half of my appointment.

Costumers service was very nice
