I don't like being on the table and asked to buy additional services on the spot. I hate when someone puts you on the spot to get additional money. You have recommendations for additional services then recommend for the next time not when you are beginning the services the customer has already bought.

It a pleasant experience, I guess it was a different technique of what I’m used to but I wouldn’t think of it as unpleasant. It was more of rubbing instead of putting pressure (for some areas), maybe the guy didn’t want to go too hard or like I said, it’s a different technique from what a I’ve had in the past.

I thought I “added in” services to my facial, meaning the appointment would be LONGER. However, when the treatment was completed in the regular time of 50 minutes, I inquired at the front desk. I was told that “adding services” doesn’t make the appointment longer because other services are taken AWAY. So it’s an “add-in” NOT an “add-on” to the appointment. I think that’s really deceptive and should be better explained that it’s an ADD-IN not and ADD-ON. Most people assume when you “add” to your service the treatment time is LONGER. I hope this makes sense and I hope Hand & Stone corrects this. I’m sure many other customers have brought this same complaint to your attention because at my facility, the front desk staff seemed to KNOW exactly what I was talking about and kept saying to me “it’s an add-in, not an add-on.” I was disappointed that other services were taken away when I added to my treatment. What a rip-off.

I think the price is very prohibitive. The service and massage were excellent, but I think it is still more expensive than I would normally expect.

Preassure was good at first on back and then very light on legs. Wasn't consistent throughout. Otherwise would have been a very enjoyable experience.

Overall I was definitely satisfied. The primary reason for not being "highly" satisfied was because I was in quite a bit of pain during the massage. This was probably partially due to the pains that I went into the massage with. On the other hand, it was the most pressure/most intense massage I've ever had. The therapist asked me what sort of pressure and I said medium, but it felt like it was extra hard. It's very possible it was just due to my pretty rough pain going in, but my entire back today (day after massage) is sore as if I did an intense workout or got in a fight or something. I haven't ever had that happen after any sort of massage before.

The location is convenient for me, the hours are convenient, the front lobby staff is very friendly and helpful. My first therapist Ashley was amazing and highly knowledgeable, she was excellent, but unfortunately she does not work there anymore. The second therapist I had seemed disengaged and not very experienced. The third therapist was good. I will keep my membership as I try different therapists until I find a therapist I really like as well as Ashley.
