I just went in for hummingbird nectar & had to leave & come back later because this store doesn’t take debit cards for transactions under $5. If i could have gotten clear nectar elsewhere, i would have but i could not find it. I understand there are fees associated with accepting card payments. I have a small business & just absorb that cost for the convenience of my customers - without whom i would be out of business.

I had received over a half dozen emails stating that in my birthday month (December) I could come in and receive a FREE 5lb bag of bird seed (like I had done twice before in years past. I thought that was a great customer service plus for relationship with the customers where the birds benefit. Well they told me they don’t do that anymore. I could have sworn one of my emails stated to come get the FREE seed but I must have deleted the email by mistake. I thought surely I wouldn’t need proof if this was something they did for customers. Well I did not get any seed. I went to get the seed as a gift so now I didn’t have a gift. Spent $30 for a feeder. I really felt taken and told my grown son, nice store with great stuff but I won’t be back.

I bought dry Mealworms and I’ve tried 2 tablespoons and it’s just not doing a thing. Was a waste of my money! Not the sales person‘s fault I made the decision! Should have bought live ones!
