Hand and Stone

I was charged for a Swedish massage and not the traditional regular massage I normally get. This was my first time at this location and explained I always got a regular massage. I would suggest any new member with a history, the personnel would review the history and question any adnormalities before booking. This would also allow the personnel to personalize the appointment with the client. I was over charged and asked to have note placed in my profile to avoid future misunderstandings. I think being satisfied is good The reception desk was great I already booked another appointment I didn’t give highly, although I had a great experience it’s a pricy salon

Everything was great and relaxing but appointment scheduling was the only issue. The two of us should have been able to have same time appointments so I didn’t have to wait an hour to go in.

The massage was satisfactory, the room was very small and I was very uncomfortable with my head facing down in the opening. I rested my head on my hands..

I was highly satisfied for 90% of my experience. I wished the massage specialist massaged my area of need harder than she did.

Therapist was a little abrasive, could be just a little bit more friendlier and softer, she yanks when she need to reposition you.

I felt the therapist was somewhat abrupt. She should have told me when she wAs applying the hot towels

I mentioned online during booking and to the therapist to work on mid-lower back. This area was worked on a little early and never again. Did not think the cost was worth it. My ask was not met and my massage was only about 45min, when it was supposed to be an hour.

While the massage and the therapist were amazing…Hand and Stone is missing a true spa feeling…it was disappointing that I just needed to leave my clothes on the chair in the room, there was no where to lock up my personal belongings. In other spas, there is a quiet room to relax before and after. Most spas have showers and not just given a towel to wipe down! That was disappointing!
