Hand and Stone

The massage was decent, Svitlana is excellent. However, the beds are hard and the face support is not comfortable and I ended up with a sore back due to not being in alignment. The facial was less than ideal. The face massage was rapid and wasn’t even my face, mainly my neck? And constant plugging of products was too much. At the end I felt pressured as well, even though I had politely declined I felt they would not take no for an answer. I will not return for a facial, as I was not relaxed at all. Also being mentioned my age several times was not the best way to sell.

The area I needed the most attention wasn’t given the attention I would’ve wished for, especially considering how expensive it is, it just dampened the experience.

Other than the massage therapists nails being a bit sharp the massage was good. The pressure was a little too intense but I didn't request less pressure so it was not their fault.

Relaxing and comfortable

I found that the overall experience was relaxing. The ambiance of the room was basic. It had a dusty smell and the linens were not fresh.

I really thought that the black heads on my nose would hVe been cared for during my facial. They have been cared for in the past with the same facial as i just had.

I really like Hand & Stone. Sprcially their massage therapist are knowledgeable and skilled. the rooms ambient is relaxing. Will definitely come here.

it seems like the price of a normal massage increased

The massage was fine. I don't have an issue with the actual massage although I would prefer a female RMT for future massages (just personal comfort). My issue was that my RMT was not very friendly and did not seem to like what he does.

There was some aspect that I didn't find to comfortable about the massage bed a bit narrow. It also was a bit too high off the ground as I am only 5 feet tall. Consider adding a step stool. Also linens on the bed feel too thin. Would be better if more plush and a bit more weight to it.
