Big O Tires

I had an appt. and they kept my truck for 2 days and never touched it. I had to rent a truck to use because they never fixed or looked st my charging system. Dont use them. They give different excuses every time you call them.

Changed prices without asking just showed up on bill, Was told it would take 1 and 1/2hours and it took 3 and then when it was done the service person didn't both to tell me until I asked 10 min. later.

We had a very good experience at Big O Tire. Job was on time, price was fair and Robert was very pleasant to work with.

Called for an appt. the female that answered the phone said I didn't need one. I arrived 15 mins. later and after getting my name and all the info they told me it would be 2 hrs. I told the guy that was helping me that I'd called for an appt. and explained I would be waiting in the store and didn't want this to take all day. I went ahead and had the oil change anyway and waited the 2 hrs. I will be going to Jiffy Lube in the future. Cars would pull up with a problem and they would pull the car right into the garage while my car was sitting in the parking lot. While waiting I needed to use the bathroom, dirtiest toilet and bathroom I've seen in a long time. When I asked questions they didn't have an answer, it was the worst customer service I've ever had. When I got home I told people around the complex about my experience @ Big O's tire store and they told me they had also a terrible experience likewise or had heard terrible things about this particular store. I will never go to a Big O's store ever again, worst run store I've ever been in

I have always have great service when going into the shop. The bathroom, could probably be a little cleaner. Keep up the great service!

My experience with this Big O was awful. I brought my truck in on April 27, 2017 for an alignment check because the tires were wearing unevenly. They told me that I needed two new tires and an alignment. I waited for six and a half hours in their waiting area while they did the work. I left their shop at 6pm and as I got onto the freeway I noticed that the truck was shaking. I called the shop right away and talked to Luis. He said that they could make time in the morning to look at it again. This meant that I was driving 1 and a half hours home then back to Yuma the next morning with my truck shaking. This was not safe. I arrived the next morning April 28, 2017 at 10:30 am and they checked the balance on the new tires. One tire was defective , so it was replaced. It took them another 5 hours to align the truck. On May 30th the front end started making popping noises as I turned to the right. I decided to take it to another Big O in Surprise. This is what they said about the work done in Yuma. " Truck should have not been aligned with the worn out front end components. Passenger side upper control arm bolt was loose with it arrived" signed by Berry O Did the shop in Yuma not recognize worn out front end components or did they not know how to fix front steering components?

They did I asked on time, and I very pleased a job well done

Got to the store at 11:45. Was told that the Waite for a tire repair would be 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 3 1/2 hours later still no flat service. Ask for my keys and hit the road, don't waste your time.

Luis was very professional & courteous. They were very very busy and each service writer took their time with each client, myself included. I wouldn't buy tires anywhere else. Waiting is difficult some times. But totally worth it at this store.

Needed four tires mounted and oil change. This was at your opening time of day- 7:30. I was 4th in line. The mechanic's pants were so dirty and greasy as to be almost black. At least he put plastic on my car seats before he sat. Either Edwardo Lopez or Juan Padilla. Did no one notice filthy jeans? There was an older man walking around the property then he went to sit on the curb and talk to young man who was finishing pulling weeds. Thought maybe he was owner and might notice greasy pants. Mechanic raised car up high, and I said "tires are in the trunk" He said: "Are we doing tires?" and lowered the car. He got the key and did not know how to slide the trunk lock cover aside. Then when I moved aside, he tried to force the square key in the hole. After I showed him the round key opens the trunk, He then asked: "whitewalls in?" and I said there are instructions in the work order for whitewalls out. Need to read work order before beginning. I reminded the other guy that there are two drain plugs on the oil pan, he said he did not know that. The other guy told me he needed to "pop off" the wheel center caps, I told him they twist off, not to pry them off and if stubborn, they can be loosened after the wheel is off from screws behind. He handed me one he pried off- some damage. A third man told me to stand far away and showed me where. I do admit I walked in to look at disc brake pad wear and I know I shouldn't be there. I said I did not feel they knew what they were doing. They were asking me questions. He said they did know what they were doing. He later asked if that was my Oldsmobile. I said no- it is a Lincoln. Again not instilling any confidence. After I thought they were done, mechanic said threads were stripped on one lug nut and he put anti-seize lubricant on it to make it go on better? It did not. I said you should not lube lug nuts. The entire store did not have a spare lug nut. A lady offered to "order me one" and it should not take too long. Don't know why a lug nut was not already ordered but instead became a discussion. This was at a couple of hours and I was 4th in line at opening- I needed to go. So I drove off with only four lug nuts on one wheel. When I got home I saw that I was missing a valve stem cap too! Sloppy no experience mechanics. They were friendly and nice. You might think these are all minor criticisms, but how many mistakes is finally too many? Count how many instances creating doubt I experienced in two hours. I have used Big O many times for many years. I restore old cars and have had a number of tires changed. It was like a whole new crew this time. The reason I come there instead of lower-priced Walmart is because I thought I was getting the pro mechanics. Maybe initial appearance of extremely greasy pants mechanic should have been warning of what impression Big O wants to make first thing in the morning. I will go to Walmart if needed next time. So disappointed after all these years.

I was taken care of immediately. I will always use Big O for my needs.

I ordered two tires for my truck. I called and found out they were in. I tried to make an appointment the next day but was told all appointments were full and to just come in at 0730 AM and my two tires would be installed "first thing". I arrived at 0715. It took until 10 ( hardly first thing) to even begin installing them. It took until 1129 to finish. This too is not "first thing", as promised by staff. As I walked around the building several times, I noticed that one employee was barbecuing food instead of working and two others were standing around talking about Gatorade instead of working. If you want prompt service where the words of an employee can be relied upon, I recommend you go elsewhere. I will not return here, their decent price notwithstanding.

Went for oil change/tire rotation. Had issue when I picked up but resolved quickly.
