Big O Tires

I took my Altima in for a check up before going on a road trip across the US. There were issues that were identified and corrections were taken. I drove my car home and nothing noticeable was wrong. However, when I left home the next morning, there was oil stains under the passenger side of the car where work on the CV joint was conducted. I took the car back to have the issue corrected. I ended up having to take my car back a third time to get the oil leak fixed. I was hoping this was an anomaly. I took my wife's car in to get tires replaced. I had to take the car back to clear up a slow leak fixed causing the tire pressure sensor to go off. I have taken my car here and the customer service has been good. The quality of service recently has not been to what I have received in the past nor what I'd expect to find anywhere. I'm not sure if its a lack of skilled workers or supervision. Always treated good at this location ( Grant and Silverbell). We've been taking our vehicles here since they moved into this location and have never had a problem. They know my kids because they come in with me all the time and they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

HAD MY TRUCK FROM DAY ONE OF NEW WHEELS AND TIRES AT THIS STORE BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE HIGH SPEED BALANCER.WENT TO CHANGE MY HUBS AND WHEN I DID TAKING THE TWO FRONT TIRES OFF ONE STUD WAS STRIPPED ON THE RIGHT FRONT OK LEFT SIDE THREE WERE STRIPPED HAD TO CUT TWO OFF.WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN TO ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM HE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING HE WOULD DO. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE ANBOUT THE POUR SERVICE AND WILL CONTACT kGUN9 ON YOUR SIDE LETS SEE WHAT THEY WILL SAY THEN

BEWARE!!! I purchased $600+ tires at the Tucson, Silverbell location. The only reason I made such a large purchase was because the Goodyear Assurance tires were on promotion. When I mentioned it at the counter, and on the phone when I ordered the tires, they failed to tell me I had to make the purchase on my Big O credit card and didn't say anything about it to me when I paid with my bank card. The guy just said I guess they are on promotion. I didn't discover this until I went to fill out the paperwork for the mail-in rebate at home. I was fine making this large purchase because I would get $250 back. Not only that, but they did an alignment and charged me for it without telling me or asking if I wanted one. I actually had an appointment at a different place $10 less than what Big O charged for an alignment, and brakes but went ahead and paid it because I figured the car needed it and it was only an extra $10. When they didn't mention anything about the brakes, I called after I left to make sure & when they asked the tech that worked on my car, he said he didn't check. But the guy on the phone said they are supposed to but if I bring it back they could check. I had to pick up my son and when I got on the freeway, the car was shaking. I called back at 5:30 & they said I can bring it back in the morning and they would check it out as well as the brakes. We're going out of town for the weekend, the whole reason for the new tires, alignment and brake check. I'm now renting a car because I'm concerned about the safety of my family in my car. I feel very cheated! My trust in the mechanics that are supposed to make sure my vehicle is safe failed to do their job. I wish I could take these tires back and go somewhere else. I have never had a mechanic do extra work without asking and being secretly charged for it. This location seemed all about making money and not at all about customer service or satisfaction.

I had a blow out and this store was closer than going to my work. The spare I had was in bad shape and I was even afraid to put air in it. It had 23 psi. I dropped off the truck and ran errands while they put 2 new tires on the rear. Picked it up and didn't drive it till today. Had the tires put on saturday and planned on getting two more next month. The truck was shacking very bad. I looked at the tires and the right rear was missing the cap for the valve stem. It had 70 psi in it and the left rear had 40 psi but a cap on the valve stem. The chrome sleeves for the valve stem were missing on both of them. I took it back in today and ernie greeted me and I showed him what was going on. He let air out of the right rear in the parking lot and wanted to drive it. I said no and put the tires on the balancer. They do not have a balancer that reads load force. If he did he would have seen it was in the tire. I wasted 422.00 dollars and Ernie was rude and disrespectful to me. He rebalanced the tires and never once apologized for the poor service. Just the opposite and I will never go there again. I have to get more tires to replace these. He tried to say I had a bent rim and showed me. It is not the wheel it is minimal and I had a smooth ride before the tires were put on. If I could put 0 stars I would. Does ernie own that place and treated me like that. I will give you a google review also. And Yelp, also big o website comments and complaints.

The Staff at Grant and Silverbell are pro's at what they do...you can trust them too!

Took my car in bc I had a bolt in it. Left after paying and bolt was still in tire. Waste of time and energy. Very dangerous and bad buisness ethics.

During a repair of a slow leak a few months ago it was suggested I replace my tires by Sept. Made the appointment. They had the tires I need when I came, and in 30 minutes I was on my way. Friendly, efficient, speedy as always. I wouldn't go anywhere else. You are there when I need you.

I came in because my tire had a leak. 40 minutes later, they told me they repaired it. Went in to work, had to air up my tire and when I left the tire was completely down. Had to switch to my donut. Took the tire to another mechanic shop and THEY repaired the tire, put it back on, and placed my donut back. They told me nothing was done by big o tires. Which sucks, I've gotten tires here before and had no issues. The fact that I was charged and no work was done is really annoying. So, probably not gonna do business with big o anymore.

The staff here treat you like a welcome guest.

I've come to this location twice now and received excellent service. Both times were for a tire repair, apparently I run over a bunch of junk. Each time the staff was very friendly and explained that they would evaluate the tire and determine if it could be patched or needs to be replaced. Both tires were fixed and upon leaving I was shocked to have no charge. The staff was just friendly and said it was free and just to think of them in the future for any tire needs. I will, next time I need any tire service this is the spot. You've earned a loyal customer. I work in the shopping center across the street and guarantee to give good word to my customers. Thank you!

Had a great experience. A sales rep came out to the parking lot and helped me right away. They were up front about the pricing and they got me a new tire fast. It was super convenient and I appreciated all the courtesy and help I experienced.

I take both my cars to the Big O on Silverbell.Excellent Service . Everything is explained to me and work is done right!!
