I was in there yesterday and I had a battery from Big O that was still on warranty. The Toyota dealer told me that my "battery was low but it was still under warranty with Big O Tires so take it back where you got it and they'll replace it free." I then went to Glendale, AZ Big O Tires on Peoria, Ave. The sales guy was making me believe that it was going to be replaced free of charge (pretty standard operating procedure when something is under warranty!!!)(can't remember his name) but then when it came time to replace it and pay he said "you are going to have to pay $30.00"! I said, "what do you mean, it's still under warranty"!?!?!? He then said "well Phil said it was going to cost $30 to replace and install"! Much to my surprise, I said "let me talk to Phil or a manager". The sales guy then said "well let me go back and check with Phil"!?!? By this time I was so fed up and mad I had already decided "NO MORE BIG O TIRES FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, THIS IS RIDICULOUS"! This guy did come back and say "it's taken care of"! What a debacle!!!! I've used Big O Tires in Reno, NV and NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE YESTERDAY!!! That was my experience. I'm done with Glendale, AZ Big O Tires on Peoria, Ave.

Great service. Never had a problem with this company. Honest and upfront with you. Peeps you in the loop and let's you know what's needed a d what to keep an eye on in the future. Did not try to upscale me which was refreshing.

I know it isn't mandatory, but I certainly appreciate when those that work with the public so heavily mask up. Like it (or believe it) or not, we're still in the middle of a pandemic and every little bit helps. I normally wouldn't even bring it up (I'm not on some crusade), but I got the vague impression that I was the odd person for wearing one (to be clear, NO ONE said anything derogatory, but I got a vibe that I don't seem to get at say, my local grocer). Again, love the store, service, employees, and value, but it just sort of hit me the wrong way.

Had a fuel filter changed. Found when I got home that it was leaking. Returned later to have them tighten the connection and stopped the leak.

I called to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning The service advisor said that there was availability so I schedule my appointment. When I arrived the next morning other vehicles was taking in prior to mine. When I address my concern to the service advisor who scheduled my appointment he said “ Oh did I said that” At that moment I decided that if this happens again, I will take my business elsewhere. If the service advisor is willing to lie about scheduling what other things are they willing to do. It’s unfortunate I have had good service in the past.

the only reason i did not mark higher is because i was not told about the specials, (buy 2 get 2 etc). i only saw the sign in the window after the work was done.

Received a travel coupon book in the mail from big O. Went in to use the $16.95 Oil change coupon. Presented coupon at check in. When I picked up the vehicle they charged me the $39.99 oil change stating that the coupon doesn't work on SEMI-Synthetic oil. The fine print on the coupon states "FULL SYNTHETIC OIL EXTRA", my Scion does not use full synthetic so it seems really unfair and the associate made it seem like the fine print is ambiguous and really means any oil with a synthetic component. I would suggest you either update the terms of the coupon to be specific or have the associate inform you that the service will cost over twice as much as I was anticipating spending upon drop off not after the fact. I usually have a pleasant experience at this location and have for years. I really don't want to change shops for my vehicle maintenance needs.
