Everything went smoothly

The Owner and his employees stand behind their Big O products. My rears brakes were replaced on 12/12/19, as well as the front brake pads,and rotors resurfaced, but after awhile continued to give me loud noise level problems, only upon first starting the car and driving it about 25 yards down the road; after that, there was no noise. Big O continued to address my problems as the noise level continued. Ed the owner then saw me continue to come in and personalized the service by taking a firm interest in my noise level problem. He assisted me in making another appointment and leaving the car outside over night to address the problem the following morning. He called me the following morning explaining his concern and findings that whatever the noise, it came from the brakes. He informed me that they were going to take out the break pads and install new Akebono type brakes which would resolve my problems. It did and now the car has no more breaking noises as I start up the car in the morning and backing it out of the driveway. Throughout the years at Big O in Lafayette, we have had continued very good service in everything that we bring them in for or to check. My wife and I want to thank Ed and the Big O people for taking excellent care of our needs.

Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. As a woman, I never feel talked down to or patronized. This is very important to me. They can’t always offer a discount to me as an educator, but they have at times, and I am very appreciative of that. And service is always very good, I’m happy with it (ie: I have no problems with my drive to Tahoe), and they are easy to talk to. This is also important to me as cars and mechanics are not things that I have a natural aptitude for.
