Big O Tires

I was getting a tire replaced that was unrepairable due to a screw in the sidewall. Big O had the tire and was able to put me on schedule right away. They completed the replacement on time and at a fair price. There should be an N/A as an answer for the survey questions as some do not apply to every case.

Everyone was great, but it was unfortunate that it took me two trips there to resolve my problem. The first day I went and got my tire patched in a very timely and efficient manner, but upon leaving, I realized that the newly patched tire was at 35 psi and the other three were at 30, so I had to go back the next day to ask them about that, and they said it should've been checked the previous day. They did help me immediately and matched the tires to the same psi.

They were all friendly and worked diligently to get the job done. When I came in without an appointment a few days prior they checked my tire pressure. A few days later I needed to have a tire checked again and made an appointment. It was easy and took about 45 minutes. One thing I will say is that the wi-fi was not working on either network which became increasingly annoying towards the end.

I have been dealing with Big O for over 15 years and have been very pleased with the service provided. However my last experience with my Infinity J-30 involved AAA and Big O. My car would not start after 2 1/2 weeks at rest. AAA was called and started the car, stating the battery (AAA- 1 yr. old) was good but the Alternator (Big O, one yr. old) was not. (Both were under warranty) My car was towed to Big O in Lafayette. After Big O check up,, I was told alternator was good and battery was dead. Who should I believe? In frustration I thought car should be checked by Nissan dealer in Concord. Delay with tow truck and I was told battery had power enough so that I could drive it to Niello, which I did. There I was told diagnostic workup revealed need for new alternator, new battery and brake pads. It was unfortunate for me, that I did not know to insist on AAA bringing new battery to Niello and that I did not emphasize the old alternator be returned to Big O. This has proven to be a very expensive business learning lesson for me, dealing with three companies looking out for themselves.

They didn’t try to oversell me services. They told me exactly what was causing the wheel light to go on, and it was cheaper oil change than elsewhere.
