Big O Tires

We got four new tires from here a few months ago. One of my tires blew out on the freeway so I had my car towed to the store around noon. The first issue was that they said they would call me when the tires were put on that day, but they never did. I was in meetings all day at work, and didn't call to follow up until I realized that they were already closed. Luckily I live close to work so I walked home. After picking up the car the next day, the steering wheel was shaking badly on the freeway. After doing some research, my husband went into the store to tell them the steering wheel was shaky, and asked if the tires were aligned properly, They didn't look at the car, but assured my husband that they aligned the tires. After doing MORE research, I called in and asked if they balanced the tires. The man I talked to paused on the phone and said that the the machine used to balance the tires wasn't working right at the time we got the new tires. So I had to bring in my car again for the tires to be properly balanced. As I left, the man said he wouldn't charge me for balancing the tires, as if he was doing me a favor for something that should have been done correctly the first time. After the tires were properly balanced, the steering wheel stopped shaking. Overall, it was annoying that we had to be the ones to try and figure out what the issue was. Plus, if we had continued driving on those tires, a lot of damage could have occurred.

I made an appointment for 8am, I was told it would take an hour. At 9am I drove past and my car had not been moved or worked on, I called and they said they were almost done as I watched them run out to pull the car in to start working on it. An hour later they called me and said, "your car is ready to be picked up"�. When I arrived to pick up my car at 10:30 am I was informed they hadn't done any work on it and they handed me a quote for over 3 grand. Two hours of my day were wasted for something that should have only taken 15-20 minutes to figure out. I am mostly upset that I made an appointment and my car was not worked on at that time, the shop was not busy and when they called they didn't mention they hadn't done any work.

Customer service was excellent,detailed and overall friendly positive attitude!! I love how I was giving a sheet of paper of what was wrong with my car & how it was fixed

My boss referred me to big o tires after hearing me talk about my car so i went after work and setup and appointment for the next day. I dropped the car off on my way to work for a front end alignment and was told i needed 2 new tires to perform which i agreed to. After work i went to pick up my car and it wasnt done so i waited around and they installed the tires but did not do the aligment which is what i needed in the first place and the guy said my steering rack had zero play in it and that it probably wasnt the right one for the car. Its one thing to turn away business but to flat out lie is another. I went somewhere else and had it done and yes my rack was a factory honda rack for my car and had plenty of play to adjust the other shop said it was completely good and that big o was lying out of their ass. Will not do business there again
