My tire treads had worn considerably at 26,000 miles and they had a 50,000 mile warranty. Cris contacted Michelin regarding new tires and asked what the prorated value would be. He was not satisfied with the initial response and pursued it further. He was able to get me 4 new Defendor LTX tires at a 70% discount. I was very happy. Kudos to Cris for his diligence!
