Big O Tires

We had a flat that needed fixing and realized all four tires needed replacing. I called Big O and they gave me a deal on four new tires. We took it over at 4:00 and we were out by 6:00. They also discovered during their inspection that we needed an oil change so we got that too! Great, thorough customer service (thank you Casey!), friendly people, quick and efficient. Any time we need tires this is where we go!

I dropped our car off for a wheel alignment and was offered a shuttle pretty much anywhere nearby, so I got a ride home within 5 minutes. Not too long later, I got a call saying everything was within spec, so no adjustments needed. Luckily that meant no charge as well when I went to pick up my car. The guys did give me all the measurements showing things within spec, but totally zero dollars for their work! I didn't think anybody did anything for no charge anymore, but I truly appreciated it along with the positive and helpful attitude throughout. And I have to say the place was very clean everywhere. There was a small waiting area with TV, magazines, newspapers, coffee maker, and doughnuts! Geez... I could've skipped the shuttle and just sat on the comfy couch with coffee and a doughnut.

I brought in aftermarket brakes. They resurfaced the rotors (they could have tried to talk me into buying new rotors). The sales guy Chris was knowledible and didn't try to BS me (I'm a certified brake mechanic). These guys in San Ramon are always straight up and always do solid work on my car. I highly recommend them.

I have been there twice. The first time I had a major problem with my car and they did a very good job explaining the problem, giving me options, and taking good care of me and my car. Yesterday I went for a simple oil change. They were busy but got it done while I shopped at Costco and they didn't try to sell me any other services or say there was multiple things wrong with my car. It was refreshing. The delicious donuts in the waiting area were an added bonus.

Easy, fast and inexpensive!

Used them last week. Friend noticed my tires were worn. Went in, got new tires, just in time for the rainy season. Thank you, Big O. Appreciated they didn't try to sell me a bunch of other stuff.

I quickly headed over to Big O Tires in San Ramon just before close and although most of the mechanics had already gone home, one had stayed to save my day and help me out to install a new battery. Ivan, Thank you for the quick service on Saturday. Joe found that my Ball Joints on the front of the AWD Acura RL were causing the wheels to go out of alignment. After 250K, I figured that made sense, plus the wheels were in alignment up until a couple of days before when I had the tires rotated, then they were out. So again, made sense. Joe found the parts on a Saturday and had me out by the end of the day. Not a difficult fix -- but of course the parts were $$$ -- I am looking to get another 50K out of the car -- and I can pay now ($700) or pay later ($700) when I trash a new set of Pirelli's on the car b/c the car will always be otherwise going out of alignment.
