I waited 2.5 hours to replace 4 brand new tires. I have my 2 Year's old with me waiting and they had no accommodations for us. Bad management of staff I think. Never going back here again.

Lately there have been a lot of missed items when my vehicles are getting serviced. I expectg my mechanic to be looking for the things that need repair of replacement for me instead of me having to have a degree in auto mechanics. Not very happy with my service lately.

Battery was checked and informed that it was at Medium state and would need replacement in about a week or so. I had inquired if it would have any effect for my long journey planned to Yosemite which would last 4 hrs one way. They suggested that I would definitely not have any issue, however as soon as I came out and stopped my vehicle for filling up the gas, the battery went down. Secondly when requested for a battery change, I was asked to return on another day as they are busy despite me having an appointment for the same, although the closure time was 1 hr away from the time I logged in.

I have been a customer at this location having serviced all of our vehicles there for several years now. Jason, Jonathan and DJ have always been great to deal with, down to earth guys with fair prices, good selection and awesome customer service. I went in the other day for the first oil change on my new 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. Although I have two free services thru the dealership, its just too much of a hassle to coordinate a schedule to bring it in to the dealership for a diesel oil/filter change. I worked long and hard to get this new truck and the worst feeling in the world is to leave my $80k black Denali in the hands of someone who doesn't know how meticulous I am about my vehicles. These guys do and respect my vehicles as much, if not more, than I do. I recently had all the factory paint correction done, sealed and ceramic coated by MARS in Newark, leaving my paint flawless. When I dropped it off at Big O the other day, I briefly went over how important it was to me that it was cared for while it was in their possession. Jonathan reassured me he would personally look after it and have the technicians contact him before working on my truck. Even though they were a little short staffed that day, when I mentioned I was running late for my appt, Jonathan had one of his employees give me a ride home just so I could make it to my appt on time. A couple hours later the oil/filter change was completed without issue. When I picked it up, Jonathan had the truck parked away from other vehicles and in a place where nobody could park next to it or get close even by walking by. He reassured me his technicians made sure to clean any oil that had dripped down on any parts underneath the truck during the oil/filter change and even gently wiped off any finger prints that were left behind on the paint. That kind of care, respect and consideration goes a long way in my book. While I was there, I also inquired about changing out the factory tires for something a little bigger, a little wider but more so just had a smoother ride. Jonathan spent the time to check the truck, look up what would best fit the wheel well and even offered to do a test fit to make sure it it didnt rub or interfere with anything when in motion when I was ready. I am still working out those details but will be back to get that done in the near future. I always or until their level of personal service drastically declines, I will continue to refer business their way. Thanks again!

The team went above and beyond getting our problem solved. They always help us in correcting the problem even if it involves many man hours and research. Thank you to Jason and the whole team. We are oh so grateful.

Pulled in at 8am, 1st customer about 7 employees. Took about 50 minutes to rotate my tires, they did not balance or check the air pressure. I watched a worker pulling on my air filter, asked him what he was doing and he said chain the air filter, I asked why he said ...oh, I guess the paper work didn't have it down. I was like it's a KN airfilter you don't replace it.

On Monday I was surprised to discover that my tires were worn down to the marker after only 16700 miles. I had to wait two days, because apparently only Jason deals with manufacturer warranties. I called on Wednesday in the morning, and was told that I'll get a call in the afternoon. I called again Wednesday at 3pm and finally got to speak to Jason. He claimed that he hasn't looked at it yet, and that he will call me later, but throughout the conversation he was very condescending, and not very pleasant. He tried to man-splain something about the warranty my tires were under -- meanwhile I had the manufacturer's warranty right in front of me! He made me feel like I was a nuisance to him, rather than a valued customer. I have been using Newark Big O Tires exclusively for all the work on both of my cars since 2014, and I'd like to believe that my customer loyalty is worth something. Today I was made to feel that I was no longer valuable. Frankly, I feel betrayed. I've never been treated like this at Big O. :( I'm hoping for a good resolution to this. I'm hoping that he was just having a bad day, or that I just misread his attitude. But for now, my review is that this place has been a big letdown.

Had over $1000 of work done including 4 tires with alignment but now alignment is worse than it was previous to the work being done. Will lose more time now that I need to drop off car to realign.

Not too happy because the next morning we found oil dripping from the car! Had to take it back and fix the problem (I hope!). This is the second time something like this has happened; the first time it happened to my Toyota pick up, the wrong oil filter was put on. Luckily nothing really bad happened. But I was really upset because I trust that you would do a professional job and would pay attention. I just hope that your team does a better job next time!
