The person who helped me was giving me sarcastic answers. I asked him how long will it take he would says "we will do our best"� and then I asked what is max it would take he said "store closes at 6 so I would say 6pm"�. This is just one example, he got annoyed with any question I asked and was very arrogant. An hour after my appointment time they took my car and he told me my tires were very old so I would have to buy 4 new tires, he wouldn't rotate them like I asked becasue of their age. I was replacing a single tire. In the end I did not buy that single tire and left with annoyance.

Every time I go to this store I have had great service. I feel well taken care of and the jobs have been done in a great and timely manner. I have recommended them to many people. I live in Hayward but would go no where else. Thanks guys!

I wish I could write separate reviews for my handful of experiences in your shop, but since i am only given one opportunity i had to combine my ratings. I called the store on Monday 6/17 at 3:30pm to ask availability to check out my vehicle (low tire pressure light on, tires still under warranty). I spoke to christian and was told to come in- i arrived at 4 pm. When i walked in, i noticed Christian was very busy so i waited my turn, but noticed that another service adviser was available and just standing there. I was not greeted by her and basically had to ask for her assistance.I let her know that i called ahead of time and was told to come in. She seemed very unpleasant and as if i were bothering her for assistance. She said " you should probably pull up the car to lot 1 to read the tire pressure to see if any service is even needed ." I pull up the car and had to bother a technician to take the readings. He tells me that all tires are reading low especially the rear right (which i suspected). After the reading i go back inside and the service adviser (Melissa) is no where to be found. I wait, and i wait and she doesn't return. Once Christian is done helping his line of customers he asks if i was taken care of and i explained to him that i was just left unattended with no follow up- so he goes back and gets the tire readings from the technician, and i also let him know that at my last visit (assisted by Melissa), my tire rotation was never performed because apparently there was no time.I asked if that could be taken care of too. He expressed to me that that shouldn't have been the case but agrees to get it taken care of and has me leave the car to get serviced. It is now 6 pm and i haven't heard back from anyone so i make my way back to the shop. I noticed that my car is in the same spot that i parked it. I walk in and no one is in the booths. i wait a few minutes and Melissa finally appears and says that my car hasn't been worked on and that there is one car ahead of me. I asked how long the service would take and she estimated 45-60 minutes, but i was confused as they close at 6pm. She could clearly see that i was disappointed as i had expectations that my vehicle was going to be serviced and ready to go. I had made arrangements to get picked up and dropped off- and all for nothing. If there was no time for my vehicle to get serviced a simple phone call would have been appreciated, or schedule me an appointment for another day. She didn't say a word i asked her what she recommends, should i leave my car and wait, should i schedule an appointment? - she was very unhelpful I ended up scheduling an appointment for the following day. I dropped off my car around 10 am and got a call back at 12:30 letting me know it was ready. I picked up the car at 3:30 pm and was checked out by Christian and all went well. I have been coming here for 10+years and usually receive great customer service. I am usually called with updates on my vehicles, alerted of any findings and suggested services, but unfortunately that has not been the case the last two times that i took my vehicle to get serviced when i was assisted by Melissa. Working in customer service myself i know what it takes to make your customers/clients happy. And i feel like there is some room for improvement. Sadly this all effects the customers experience and your stores reputation. I hope that my next experience is just as it used to be-- great and pleasant!

I went for a free alignment check, was asked to pre authorize alignment charges and was told that though minimal correction was required, it was done so that it doesn't get worse and now my vehicle is pulling to the right while driving... after the alignment

Had a nail in my rear tire, and they repaired it very quickly, and at No Charge. I was extremely thankful for their help.

After I dropped of the car and key and signed the paper work, I was not given a copy of what I signed. I asked how long would it take to finish putting the two new tires. I was took it would take two hours. By the time they called it was 3 and a half hours after. I asked for a courtesy discount and they gave me $10. It was a discount but no courtesy involved. The name of the personnel was Ashley as I was told. I had to pay $238 for two new tires from Big O. Also when I called after two hours to request a new estimate. The guy on the phone asked if I still wanted to align the tires, I said I wanted to get the car back as soon as I could. He then replied ok no alignment "Check"� and hung up. I was told to bring the car back for alignment check otherwise the warranty of the tires will be voided. I have learnt my lesson, first one since I started patronizing Big O about 22 years ago.

Adjustment to tires affected the tire pressure monitor sensor. The light intermittently goes on now.

I had an appointment for an oil change on my 2007 Lexus 350. The work was good and done promptly, including tire rotation. They did inform me that my front brakes were down to 5 mm and need to be check on my next oil change. Everything else checked out ok. There was no pressure to do any other work, which often happens at other the dealership and other shops.

I'm six months pregnant and waiting for my tires to be done. I wait for an hour and a half in the lobby. Four other people get tires before my car even gets moved at all. All these people came in after me and I have been here since 12:45 it is now 2:50 and still waiting. Super disappointed seeing as I only do my tires at this shop. Sad to say they have lost my business for good.

I believe their names were Ashley and Victoria or Veronica, they were very kind and knowledgeable. They allowed me to bring in my dog and let us wait for the time. The mechanic, I never got his name, was also very kind and gave me some advice to keep on eye on a few things for my car. Very thankful for the place and will definitely be coming back.

I brought my PT Cruiser in for a wheel alignment and tire rotation on March 18 at 9am. Later that morning, I noticed my car in the parking lot in a different spot. Before I went to the desk to inquire about my car, I checked to see how they rotated my tires when I realized it was not done. I asked the Service Consultant in the office what happened. He said the left front tire was worn and the front control arms were bad and they would not do a wheel balance or a rotation like that. Ok, I understand why they could not do a wheel balance. But they should of rotated the tires. Also, if they would have told me while the car was in the service bay, I would have authorized them to replace the control arms and even buy two tires for the front. They wasted my time. But, it gets worse. When I got home, my wife said what is that strange noise coming from the car. (I'm hard of hearing). I took the car to another auto shop and they said whoever put your tire on the car damaged the bushing and now needs to be replaced. I had the bushings replaced and control arms and front tires replaced and had the wheel alignment done without issue at a this other company. That mechanic that put my tire on my car and caused this damage and extra expense needs to be shown how to mount a tire without causing damage.

I am really disappointed with the last service that was performed on my car due to i spent alot of money to prevent any major issues before my long trip and now i have to spend more money on my car in tires because of a bad aligment that was perform on it, this probably will be my last time that i take my cars for any services to you.

I went in to get an estimate on 4 tires, and was pleased and surprised that it was less than the estimate from my usual shop. I brought just the wheels and tires in to have the new tires mounted and balanced. To my surprise, employee Ashley gave me another discount. The next day I brought the car in, with the new tires installed by my friend, to have the wheels balanced. I live a short distance from the shop, so with that and the great service, I'll go back soon for front tires on my pickup.

We bought our 4 tires before in big O therefore this time that we found a screw in one of the tires, I decided to bring it to big O Newark, CA. They told me that the tire is unrepairable, needed to changed the tire. But my husband instructed me to go back & do a tire test by removing the screw & put water with soap which I did & one of your advisor did it for me & turned out the screw was just superficial. No holes on the tire. It was indeed very disappointing because we've trusted your company for many years, if you look out records we bring our cars for all different services change oil, alignment, tires, etc. other things that your technician recommends to us my husband believes them.

We were very happy as always with the service and expertise we receive at Big O. We recently had our car plus our college age son's car fitted with new tires. They also caught some other issues and promptly notified us. Thanks so much for the excellent service!

My daughter brought the car since I was unable to get the left rear tire looked at and patched up as there was a nail lodged on the tire. Instead of doing just that the person who looked at the tire told her that she would need to buy a new tire since he said that it not fixable/patchable and that he can put in an order for the tire since he doesn't have it on stock. The tire is barely a year old and should be covered by the warranty. She was going to bring the tire to another shop this morning to get this done but when she looked for the tire it was not in the trunk of the car anymore, just the ream. She went back to your shop today, Tuesday (June 26th) to get it and was informed that the shop already threw away the tire and that she'll need to get a new tire and have to pay for it. What good is the warranty if at the time you need to use it you cannot!

Jason was very clear and concise in helping me choose tires for my car. The work was done in what I consider a short time frame and I got updates on the work every step of the way. My new tires are AMAZING! There is way less road noise and the car handles so much better. The adjustment to the alignment really shows up in smooth steering and feedback from the steering wheel itself. I definitely notice a huge improvement.
