Got oil all over the interiors of our vehicles. Then my husbands truck exploded it's oil all over the freeway. The supposedly fixed it and looked at my car too. They didn't clean the oil off the truck, it was so clean before taking it here. Also they got oil all over the interior AGAIN. Didn't explain what happened or what they did to fix the truck. Side note the bathroom is disgusting.

I've lived in Placerville for 30years and the Big O store on Placerville Drive is my go to place for all related to tires. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If there is a problem they do their best to alleviate said problem. I can heartily recommend the P'vill Drive Big O store for your tire needs.

Customer service could have bern friendlier. Store hasn't changed in 40 years. It feels and smells old. Parking lot is a joke.

I made an 8 a.m. appt for a front-end alignment and had to wait while they rotated the tires first- with no word that this was what they were going to do. When I told the man what the appt was for he asked if the steering was pulling- "No, the right tire is wearing a bit on the outside." They didn't even have time to get it onto the rack for the alignment, before the man came over and said I needed new tie-rods and handed me an estimate. I have not be having ANY INDICATIONSthere were problems with the tie-rods: no noise when I turn, no wobbly steering going down the freeway, NOTHING. They told me the alignment wouldn't hold unless I had them replace the tie-rods. I said, "No" and left to drive the truck 150 miles with no trouble. I will take the vehicle to my private mechanic and have him check it. The last time I had the tires rotated, I was told I either needed the wheels bearings re-packed, or new bearings put in and was given an estimate for new bearings. My mechanic re-packed the bearings.

Took in travel trailer to have tires checked, brakes checked and bearings packed. I was told it would be an hour before they got to it. About 45 min later they jacked it up and took off tires. I thought great. Then nothing else for another hour or so. Told them I was going for a walk be back in a while was told they would be done by time I got back. Got back nothing else done so waited then about noon told them I was going across street to have lunch they told me by time I got back it would be done. Got back nothing done. Waited more talked to two other guys waiting both of whom said they were unhappy and would never be back there again. Finally they get a guy to go out and do it. I watched him as he was doing it as trailer was in the driveway. Thank God I watched because when he put it back together he left off the cotter pin. I told him he had left it off so he took the dust cap back off and put it in. If I wasn't watching and caught that mistake the wheel would have come off while i was driving which could have easily killed someone. I was there 5 hours and paid 150 dollars for this terrible service. Then the topper. I get home look at the tires and one looked low. Sure enough I had to put air in it. My God this place is supposed to be a tire shop you'd think the tires which were supposed to be checked would have had enough air in them.

Always helpful. I bought Michelin Tires there as they are local and they matched Costco's price.

I ordered wrong tire for my vehicle. Sean Steele recommended a better tire at a comparable rate. Thanks for bailing me out!

While my in store experience was totally fine, I was NOT fine with the broken stud and completely stripped lug nut that I came home with. I was also not happy to have to spend an additional hour with the next day getting said mistake fixed. I do not plan to return to Big O as a result.

I've been a customer of Big O for about 30 years. I have had very good experience. In my last transaction with the store in Placerville, where I have done a lot of business since I moved to the area 7 years ago, I got the exceptional service I have come to expect. Edwin, the manager was determined, and successful, to help me get the perfect tires for my new RAM from Thompson RAM that had come with inadequate tires for the heavy snow conditions where I live.

Even though my alignment was great, and my car now drives smoothly, the air bag light came on and it was said that nothing was done at the shop that could of done that. Now I watched your technician drop the sub frame of my car to work on the steering column linkage to get it back to the center point, which is fine, but what is not fine is in doing that, he must have over-rotated the wheel and destroyed the clock spring mounted on my steering column. I took my steering column apart to check it, since my cruise control is non functional now too (and has signals sent through the clock spring) and led me to believe this could be the problem, and sure enough, the clock spring had zero continuity. I even took apart the clock spring to see what the malfunction exactly was, and the leads had been RIPPED OUT inside, which would only be caused by rotating the wheel too far. So even though my car is now aligned, it is a deathtrap, with no air bags, that I cannot drive anywhere. My cruise control worked before I took it in, and there was also no air bag light when I took it in, so this is not a problem the car had before I brought it in, and this damage was caused by your technicians. To further drive the point home, this light was not mentioned to me before or after the work was done on my car, and no mention of it is on any of my receipt, and since this is a huge safety hazard for any driver of the vehicle, why wasn't it mentioned? Also, it was said to me that you do not work on airbag systems, which is fine, but when doing a steering wheel centering for a car, where air bag control systems are involved, wouldn't air bag system faults be something you would check before and after the service was done to ensure the driver's safety? Even though I could let it go, and just never come to your shop again for your services, clock springs are incredibly expensive, and I have only been able to find them from GM. All the other less pricey options are from 3rd party sellers (mostly used units), which I do not trust with something so important as an air bag. So now my question is how can we resolve this issue? I have no interest in escalating this into something bigger than it needs to be, but I need a drivable vehicle, and something needs to be done to make this happen.

Under New Management and horrible horrible customer service. Would not replace my daughter's very new Michelin tire that punctured. Was never offered warranty. After 15 years of loyal family business and thousands of dollars in business, we will no longer use Big O Tire in Placerville. New manager, Enzo, was rude and refused to solve our issue.

American tire co. quoted me $293.53 for 3 tires out the door. Big O tires stated they would meet any price lower than theirs. They did not. They charged $305.85. Same tires same brand.

Dan Roberts treated us like we were family, and took care of a sensor problem and was truly concerned that it be rectified. He showed us all the tire options for our M-B ML350 and we are very pleased with our purchase. I have bought my tires at this location for 20 years and will continue to do so.

I called to make an appt for an oil change and was told to just come in. I called ahead to inquire if they were backed up, was advised to come in on 3 occasions and each time it took less than 15 minutes to arrive after my phone call and was told to leave my vehicle over night or it was a 2 hour wait (Twice I arrived early afternoon and once I arrived at 4:30 pm). I finally made an appointment and was taken in within 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment.

The power was out, yet they were able to provide me with an oil change and tire rotation! Really appreciate them going way above and beyond for me.
