This location is the worst service center I have ever been to. They worked on the wrong side of the vehicle on the part that was no damage according to manager Ron. I was told it would take an hour to replace a part Ron said was broken and instead it took about 6 hour do to them working and braking a part on the side with out damage and had to be ordered and now my vehicle shakes when I drive on the road.

I came in for an oil change and was very happy with the other point inspections done on my car. It was very quick and easy. Parking your vehicle there is not very easy though. Too many cars and not enough space.

Frank was terrible! Didn't say a word as I approached the counter, just stared at me till I spoke up. He argued with me about how I wanted my tires rotated, then had me pay and was gonna send me on my way even though the work wasn't completed. Please, if you value your customers don't ever leave Frank at the front desk alone ever again! I have been a customer at Big O tires for a few yrs and I will NEVER give any Big O shop my business and will happily tell everyone what poor service I received as a returning customer! Long time resident , 50+ years , doing business in Placerville. Big O made me a good deal on tires for my truck but when I tried to pay with my personal check they refused my check and when my partner called and tried to pay with her credit card they said they couldn't do a credit card transaction over the phone. I tried to pay with pay-pal but they said they weren't set up to handle pay pal all the while refusing to give me the keys for my truck so I could go to the bank & get the cash. It's customary for a business to have signs posted if they don't take checks but not Big O, management said it looked tacky with signs posted so they were removed. U would think that Big O , a national corporation, would have a system in place to make credit cards transaction over the phone, have a pay-pal account and posts signs regarding payment but not in Placerville!!!

I have been a Big O customer for many years. I appreciate the range of services in addition to tire sales and service. The costs and quality of service are very fair and the teams seems very attentive to providing great service.

They give an outrageous price $160 for a transmission fluid change I had a different store quet me and It was $140 for an oil change plus a transmission fluid change costumer service was not that great I felt like they just wanted to get me in and out as fast as possible

I took my girlfriend's Chrysler 300C in for an oil change andvtire rotation. We were out in less than 20 minutes!

The 22 point inspection is bogus, they oddly don't want to sell you preventative maintenance so they can make more money doing larger replacement jobs.

Did not deliver the vehicle at time promised. Arrived at time promised aka 3 hrs later to find it sitting out front with the spare still on the vehicle. Does not take that long to do two tires and a alignment. Would not recommend any one to go here till they get new management and new employees. I worked in the business for 10 plus years. Not how your treat customers.

Thursday I made an appointment online for 9:00 AM Saturday morning. I received an email confirmation and a phone call from a representative at the store confirming my appointment for Saturday at 9:00 AM. My expectation for Saturday was that I would check in, my car would be immediately serviced, and I would be on my way by around 10:30 AM. Reality was quite a bit different. I arrived at the store promptly at 9:00 AM. There were two people in the line for the counter in front of me. I did not reach the counter until 9:40 AM. The agent confirmed my 9:00 appointment and the service to be completed. I then sat in the waiting room FOUR HOURS AND SIXTEEN MINUTES before work began on my car. The service was to replace the two front tires, then rotate them it took ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES to perform the scheduled work on the car. I am COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED with the service I received at the Placerville Big-O. Walk-in customers were served before me. I had an appointment for 9:00 AM. I expected my appointment to put me at the front of the line of cars to be serviced. The person who had a 10:00 AM appointment was served before I was. How does that make sense? I buy tires for three cars. Apparently Big-O Tires does not place any value on returning customers who try to make appointments so Big-O can plan their work days in advance. After this decidedly negative experience, I am afraid I have to re-evaluate my relationship with Big-O for providing me with my tire needs, and I need to look at other providers who might actually value the revenue stream I provide to the company. The former owner of this business was not customer focused. The new owners are amazing. The service is fast, customer-centric and very experienced. They are problem solvers and have saved us money twice by suggestion options that cost less. This has become our Go To Tire store
