Big O Tires

As someone who has spend years in sales, I can always tell when BS is being shot my way. Retrain the front counter on how to better deal with customers and you will increase the cash flow greatly. I could go on here for days. Person working on my car was great. Person at the counter...LOL what a joke.

I have shopped at this Big O Tires for over 5 years. They are very personable and professional. Always do great work, with no pressure. I don't feel like I'm being sold up. Plus, I get rebates and free financing with my Big O Credit card. I highly recommend this store.

I bought 4 mid-range tires and the deal I got on those was awesome! But after they told me I needed alignment and my breaks done, and the estimate for that work was around $1300. I didn't have time that day and it seemed high so I took my car to my regular mechanic to see what it would cost to get my alignment and brakes taken care of-$400. That's a really big difference. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman, or most people aren't paying attention, or what, but it pretty much put me off of having any work done there other than tires. My ratings are averaged between high and low because I had one guy who gave me my original estimate for the tires that was great, and the other guy who gave me the estimate for the other work on a different day who wasn't awesome. So average, depending on who you get and what you know about cars, it's not a mechanic I would trust for anything but tires.

Good courteous serviceI ordered the tires online , didnt have to pay in advance , tires were there 2 days later.

I will return due to the customer service from both gentlemen that work the desk

Short staffed so service was slower than normal and had to reduce the services I needed due to time limitation.

I have been coming to the Garnet location for years, and Jesus is the best. He always takes care of me and my car. He is the only person I trust basically.

This is my second review today? Took 1hour 15 minutes to fix a nail form a two month old tire I bought from your shop in November. I arrived at 1015 am on a Monday. Thinking there would be no line?? There were only Three cars in a five car garage, and no customers in the shop. One car in parking lot. Took them 55 minutes to pull my car up in front of the garage to start the process. But that was 10 minutes after I finally asked them when they were going to start working on my car.

VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY CLERK. my unhappiness was with the turn-around time for a simple nail in my tire. i purchased the tire from this particular store in November. So the repair was guaranteed. I decided to go get the flat fixed on a Monday at 1015 am. So i had to leave work to get it handled. i figured this would be a slow time, and I could get it turned around in 30-45 minutes at most?. When I arrived, there were 3 cars in a 5 car garage, and only one car in front. No customers in the shop. I figured 30 minutes at most? I went across the street to McDonald's for breakfast, and had a direct view of my car in the parking lot. 45 minutes later, with cars coming and going. The cars arriving much later than mine were taken care of, while my car sat in the parking lot. I had to walk over to the shop, and ask when they would start working on my car. Ten minutes later, they parked it outside the garage, and handled the nail problem. One hour and 15 minutes later, it was finished. I have been to your shop 4 times in the past year for similar problems. Nails in the alley's of Pacific Beach I guess?? It was a different tire every time. It usually took 1 to 1 1/2 hours each time. If i didn't have the guarantee for the new tires I purchased, I would probably go elsewhere? The clerk was super helpful and nice however. That is probably why i waited so long to say something?

I've always liked Big O but this location is pretty lame.The staff isn't the least bit friendly.They also tried to up charge me for a serpentine belt I didn't actually need.I wouldn't recommend this location but I'll continue to shop at Big O

You promised you would not be beaten on the price charged for these tires and with one quick check on the internet there were three other providers with a price 20% lower.

It was very difficult to get ahold of somebody who knew what was happening with my wheel or to get a returned call. One of the representatives I worked with was polite, one was not. I asked for the sensors to be reset in my car, the process failed, and I was told that a sensor (that had been working when I arrived) was not working and would need to be replace for $90. When I brought up that point, (the sensor that was down was the one in the tire that had gone flat, the one causing the reset not to work was in a separate tire) I was told that I must have been confused as to which sensor was down and that my must have spare had a sensor, which was not the case and made me very distrustful. The tires had not been rotate or switched and I had been monitoring the tires since my flat.

Very pleased with the service I received and the problem they found. Had no idea and looking forward to them fixing the problem when they get the part in.
