Big O Tires

You technician cracked the oil filter housing while doing oil change but asked me to paid full price for a new one. I was so unhappy for that. Never go back again.

After I arrived at my appointment time to get my tire patched, EVERYONE went to lunch except for one guy who was working on multiple things at once. I waited and waited. I finally went into the shop an HOUR into my wait to see what was taking so long. The guy said "�oh is this your tire?' which was sitting in a corner, untouched. He told me 20 more minutes. Prior to this, a lady walked in without an appointment and was able to receive help immediately, got her service done, and was in and out within 10 minutes. I don't understand why I made an appointment if it was at a time where the entire shop decides to go to lunch and people without appointments are being helped before those who do have appointments. You had multiple upset customers besides me sitting in the waiting room due to the lack of customer service and care we were getting. Very disappointed for having 2 hours of my time wasted. Will not be coming back here.

I have been purchasing tires for years at the Scripps Poway Parkway location which recently closed. I have been forced to go to the Poway location and the customer service has been terrible. The staff is rude and have been of no help in answering simple questions. Today I called twice regarding 2 tires I purchased and wanted information regarding the Tire Protection Plan I purchased along with the tires. The first person on the phone was very rude and short with me stating that he doesn't have info since my purchase was made at a different location. I was at work so I called back once I was off in hopes of speaking with someone friendlier and more knowledgeable but I received the same rude service and was told I had to bring in my paperwork for them to look at. I told them both that all I wanted was to find out what the TPP I purchased covered.

Called ahead the day before, was told tires had to be ordered and would be in at 11am. Asked multiple times if I arrived at 11, would I have the tire change perfromed at that time, or would I have to wait. Was told that yes, tires would be changed as soon as the shipment came in and I got a call from the store. No call came, so at 11:30 I went to the store. There was a child behind the counter that ignored me, didn't speak a word to me, and just kept staring around and drinking water. The child then proceeded to walk away leaving the storefront empty. After 15 minutes of waiting, a real employee finally arrived, verified my tires had been there since 11, took my keys, and told me to come back at 3:30. Great. Now a tire change is an all day event. I understand that business fluctuates, but this was ridiculous, and left an awful first impression. I finally was able to leave by 4 pm, reaching nearly 5 hours to have 4 tires replaced.

The folks at Poway Rd Big O are great! They promised me they'd have me in and out as quick as they could, and they delivered.

I used two different stores last week and lead very disappointed.. The guys were nice enough but the actual work on my truck was horrible. I now have to take it to my local shop to have everything gone over for safety.. My local shop is one and a half hours away, so you can see my dismay...

My low tire light was on. They filled my tires and rotated them at no cost.

I arrived a few minutes early for my 9 am appointment. a walk in arrived right before me and was taken first so even though i had the appointment i had to wait and it was a little over an hour before my car was finished. The front guy tried to sell me on an alignment that was not necessary there was some wear on the side walls that is most likely caused by underinflation. the tread portion of the tire was evenly worn on all tires. that being said, the oil filter was either bad or improperly installed and was leaking as i do not live in San Diego i didnt notice the leak until i drove all the way to blythe ca. where i had to take my car to Larry Green ford and pay for another oil change which cost my an additional 63.00 dollars. So over all not impressed with a simple oil change. And i dont like trying to be upsold for an alignment i didnt need. and to verify this i went to another tire dealer showed him the tires and was told while the tires are about due to be replaced ( Which they are and i already knew) based on what he is seeing he wouldnt reccomend an alignment even if i was putting new tires on today
