Big O Tires

I had a power steering pump installed and had to take it back 3 times to fix a leak. I just had it completed the third time and will need to see if it is fixed yet

On this visit, I brought in my vehicle for a tire leak repair/patch. I was qoated a price of approximately $25. My 2011 Honda Pilot requires a special tool to unlock the wheels. They said if I was able to return with one, they would complete the job. On the same time, I returned after picking up my wife from work. She reminded me that the special tool was in the vehicle. We returned to the shop at approximately 5:30pm. The shop was open, but the employee at the front desk said that it was too late and that he was understaffed. He said, if I returned the next day, it would only take 15 minutes. I returned the next day. A different front desk employee told me that he could not repair the tire. He suggested a new tire for a much higher amount then I was expecting to pay that day. I left without purchase of service. I was able to find another tire shop that repaired/patched it for $15.

Because they all keep me informed what they need to do and go into everything with me before they do it.. plus show me the difference in prices.. The service is excellent and I trust taking my car there..

Brakes are grinding when I stop/brake, and there is a constant thumping squeaky noise when I'm driving. So now I have to find time to take the car back in and see what they did wrong. I have no time for this. And they charged a lot of money for the job.

the people were very friendly --the wait was short--they were very knowledgeable--they were very good at explaining everything.

I took the truck from the new tires to get the oil change the air pressure on my truck was at the 26 and 29 pounds and it should have been 35 pounds all the way around. Alignment was off outside of a good alignment by 4/10, the vehicle is only driven from the tire shop to my house till I'm at location less than 5 miles all together.

Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Answering all questions promptly and completely. I’ve been taking my vehicles there for years. Also my sister’s and niece’s vehicles. I’ve always been satisfied with their work.

I called before I went down there and I was actually pretty happy to hear that I had a big o tire so close to me when I get there the customer service was no good I told them whoever I talked to said it would be about thirty min to forty five min to get my oil change because I had to be at work in a few hours and still needed to get ready. When I get there I'm waiting for someone to greet me to help me for about five min cause they were all to busy sitting in the back room laughing having a good time. Well anyhow my car gets done and they come back with telling me I needed to different kind of air filters so they price it for me and said sure I'll do it but how long you think it will be cause like I said I have to go get ready for work he says about fifteen minutes. And I said ok well fifteen min go by and I go up there and again there just laughing having a good time and that's when I said well I guess I'll just wait on it cause since I don't have anymore time sitting around here so neither to say I won't be going back there if the customer serivce is that bad and if I can't get what I need done with my car.

I got a really good deal on all 4 tires and they were really quick. My van was ready within an hour. I had an alignment and all 4 tires replaced.

Went just for a brake check & spent 3 hours waiting, never going back, second time that this happened at this place.

The counterman knew what I wanted & gave me a few options. The install went quickly & I’m a very satisfied customer.

I take my vehicles there to change oil and get tires rotated. But it takes a minimum of 2 hrs everytime. Way too long. I went a few days ago to get my oil changed and it took at least 2 1/2 hours and they did not even rotate my wheels. I had to go back the next day to get the tires rotated. I have been going there for years I am definitely looking into going somewhere else.

The minute you walk in you feel very welcomed. They address you immediately. I want a short wait if any. Brian is excellent when it comes to describing what I need done. Very smart and intelligent and friendly. I will always go there what ever I need. Brian is very professional.

Went in for an tire rotation and balance with alignment. Dropped my truck off and picked it up after they had closed. Driving home noticed my tire pressure system wasn't reading correctly and sterling wheel was crooked. When I got home I inspected it and saw that the right side had not been rotated and that the weights had not moved. Took it back the next day the clerk at the register said that that was not possible and spoke to me somewhat rudely about the situation. Then I spoke to the tech who said it did appear that the right side was not rotated and that they would take care of it right away. Once I picked it up when I was driving it home the steering wheel was still crooked but now it was in the other direction. Will not bring it back to that Big O, but hoping to bring it to the one on the northwest side maybe they can do it right! Have had a few major issues with this one on the NE side of Bakersfield in the last year. Very disappointed!

I recently tried to call customer service to complain about the poor service provided by Big O Tires. I have not heard back and it has been a week. My complaint is that the online estimate for tires is so blatantly wrong compared to the actual money I spent to have my tires installed. There was a $250 difference and the customer service personell failed to tell me this so I went in to this place to have my tires installed based on the online estimate and came out paying way more than what was quoted without anyone talking to me or telling me that this was going to cost this much more. I complained to customer service and they said someone would call me back because I would hope something like this doesn't happen again as this is a large oversight in their system, but I have not heard anything back. I will not be using this service again. I have never paid this much to get tires installed and am upset by lack of customer service.

Excellent customer service. Excellent wait time. Straight forward. Appreciate the honesty. Every visit has been Excellent customer service.

Approximately a month ago, I bought brand new tires, an oil change and an alignment here. My car is currently in a shop for extra car maintenance and the shop owner notified me that my motor oil was black. Big O Tires never changed my car oil. I will no longer do business here again; nor, will I will recommend family or friends here.
