Big O Tires

First time I took my car was due to issue with tire. They did a great job so gave them a chance at took my car for oil change. I am seriously doubting if they actually did it. None of the fluids were topped off ( I had been out of washer fluid before brought in) two days later the maintenance needed light came on ( was oil change) so that was not reset. Gave them a second chance and did another oil change. This was better but got home and had horrible oil leak (NEVER had one before) so took back they said the washer or what ever it's called was not put in so they did that. So still had small oil leak. Took to different machanic and just got told the plug was stripped from over tightening so now I have to replace my oil pan!

Store was very busy on a Saturday, but they did their best, served everyone in turn and fairly quickly also. I dropped the car off for my daughter.

My story begins May 26. We just moved to the area and when my wifes minivan needed a leaky rack and pinion replaced I took it to them. It took four days for them to complete and when they were finished with it my daughter picked it up.She then drove to pick up her sister and they loaded up the car and went shopping. The "mechanic" at this Big O left a gallon jug of power steering fluid on the engine that melted, draining its contents on the exhaust manifold making the van smoke and almost catching on fire. Three weeks later I went to a different shop to have the power steering pump that was also leaking replaced. We found a hole in the rack and pinion bellows that you could put a golf ball into. Back to Big O tire. Josh said he would replace the bellows and replace the pump for me for my trouble. I thought this was good, that they would make it right. Bad choice. After two days of not hearing anything I called Josh. He said he lost my number and had to check with the manager Dave to replace the pump even though he said he would do it. At this point I called Big O tire corporate who started a case and even gave me a referance number. Great, except they never called me back. Josh had my car Monday and by Thursday they were done. I picked it up Friday late afternoon and Josh told me I needed a brake job. Driving home I noticed the ABS light was on, the brake pedal went to the floor, the steering wheel had to be held at the eleven o'clock position to go straight and I had a new griding noise in the front end. Saturday I talked to Dave the manager and told him my story. He said to bring it in the next week and he would take care of it. When I picked up the van he proudly shoewed me how he had fixed the alignment. Problem is the bad alignment was what his shop did on the van. Going out to the parking lot I noticed the center cap on the left front wheel was missing and I now had three different types of lugnuts on one wheel. I told Dave and he said he would get me another center cap and give mecall. Still waiting for that, So now I had a van with a grinding noise in the front-end and an ABS light that was on. What I found is that when they pulled the front axle to replace the pump, they broke the speed sensor. They then re-installed the axle with the an incorrect nut missing the washer and ruined the wheel bearing putting it back together. After a new sensor and wheel bearing the van was again safe to drive. I wish I had the resources to take them to court but instead I willl warn everyone I can about them. The ironic thing is the sign out front says "The team you can trust". Believe me, doon't do it.

took my vechile in for alignment when i started home the steering wheel was not straight had to go right back to the store and they reset it.a few months later my tires were wearing bad on the outside. so i took it to another shop finally fixed.

My experience at Big O tires was great. I didn't have to wait long they my car in right away. My car runs so smoothly now Thanks Big o tires. Highly recommend they!!

Where did Dave, Josh and the others go? I have been a Fountain Big O customer for 28yrs. Since they changed the staff here I believe I have made my last visit. I figured first time was a fluke, but as I sit here waiting for an oil change, balance and rotation.... never again. Slow, no sense of urgency. Sad day but I am done.

Went to this store and I had a nail in my tire. I asked if it could be patched. After he looked at it I was told it couldn't and then was asked if I wanted to buy new tires or he couldn't help me anymore. The leak was just slightly so I drove to the Big-O store off South Nevada. They fixed it no problem and its been good for over a year now.

We go there every time there is a need twice a month
