In the past I've had high praises for BigO Tires and given positive reviews, but this service appointment changed all that. I brought my vehicle in for almost $650 worth of work on the estimate which should have taken a few hours to complete. After several "problems" and 3 work days later I ended up with a bill of $1271! Les gave me a minimal discount, but applying simple math, it means that the current BigO diagnostic accuracy is only about 50%. Not much better than a coin flip. People rely on BigO to the be subject matter experts and provide accurate estimates. Clearly, this is not the case. With this many errors, significantly increasing the cost, I really feel that I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience & substantial time lost without my car. I look forward to your response.

The staff were friendly, timely and helpful. I did have one significant complaint. I was getting 4 new tires mounted and one tire was left with only 10 lbs of pressure in it. My TPMS system let me know I had a flat. I checked it with a gauge and filled it up with a compressor at home and it seems fine now. It was the end of the day so I get it.

My experience with this Big O location was horrible. This store was unable to repair my brake problem on a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz over the course of 2 weeks but another automotive store did repair the problem in a day and half. This store tried to get me to purchase parts that were not needed and when I questioned the asst. manager the response I got later was that he had misread the technicians writing on the estimate paperwork? They went ahead and replaced several parts in the brake system but then told me the same problem existed. They then said they they did not have the equipment needed to diagnose the problem at Big O Tires. The manager then said he would take the car to Al Serra Chevrolet south in Motor City because he had a friend who was a technician there. A week later he said he couldn't get it in because they were too busy but instead saved me some money and had his friend (the technician) come to Big O and diagnose the problem? I questioned this because he initially said he did not have the equipment needed to diagnose the problem. I still have all my recorded messages left by the Big O asst. mgr and manager proving everything I am saying. We exchanged several inappropriate conversations over the phone to the point I requested that they remove all the parts and return my car to me. I ended up paying a little over $40.00 total for this ordeal but took the car to another automotive shop who diagnosed the problem and repaired the vehicle for a little over $400.00. I have gone to Big O Tires in the past over several years, but now have chosen to stay away from the store chain because of this experience. The funny part was everything was great in the beginning up until I began to question their initial diagnosis and estimate which required the ordering and purchasing of several hundred dollars of parts and labor. I then requested that all the factory parts they remove be kept and returned to me and this is when the asst. manager because uncooperative and rude with me. I even informed the asst. manager and manager that I was very surprised with the customer service I was receiving and had chosen them because I live in this community and wanted to give my business to local merchants. They didn't care. I honestly felt like they were trying to rip me off and got caught so they then tried to cover it up any way they could.

The oil change went fine, a bit pricey. Left the shop only to learn the oil change reminder had not been reset. Went back to get it reset.

I was told my tires were evaluated and rotated which upon examination, I know to be a lie. I have been having an issue with one specific tire (passenger front) not holding pressure and was told they would try to figure out what the issue was. After my appointment, I noticed that the SAME tire location was still not holding pressure and inspected to find a nail in the tire. So they didn't rotate as they said they would, they did not evaluate the tire as they said they would and they did not attempt to repair said tire as they said they would.

I went to this store because they are the closest Big O to my home. I won't be going back. I requested a grease job/oil change, tire rotation and read some codes. They didn't do the tire rotation and refused to read the codes. They were more interested in trying to sell me parts that are not needed. I felt they were trying to take advantage of a senior citizen.

Just when u think. They found the right crew to fix my truck. They hire an asshole manager. That has no customer skills. And was rude and condescending to my husband. We bought a rough country lift back in November. The installers. Messed everything up. They put the wrong size after saying it would work just fine. It was shaking and vibrating. After having to get different rims and tires. They tried being human about it. And gave us some discounts. As we thought they where on our side. And they had helped so much. We had a back tire blow out. Which threw us over a curb going 45. And bent the rim. And busted two tires. As the sales man.... (What we thought was a great customer service rep. For there fk ups). He got us a deal on better tires. Promised they would be better. At the time we had no money. In pocket. But the gentleman. Ordered the rim. And changed the tires. And got the bent rim to work on The back until New one came in. And said we could pay ... Now another 700 because of a back faulty tire. But we agreed and was now trying for Big o credit. Myself was denied. But hubby was offered the 700 we needed. Only issue is. It's our only vehicle. And we run a business. So it took a few weeks. Before we could get it in. We offered to pay the salesman. But he refused until work was done. Today; hubby calls to remind them of everything needing done. As I was dropping it off and bringing the whole crew lunch. Manager automatically started telling him. We can't keep giving you stuff for free. Because the salesman agreed to make sure he fixed the tire pressure sensors. And rotate tires because of the changed in size once again. Hubby was not trying to fight with him. Said it doesn't matter u still have to stand by your work. It's not our fault. He had to give us discounts!!!! Because he had to pay for his previous crews mistakes on my expensive truck!!! Not only has this been a nightmare. But has cost me time and money. All because they couldn't get it right the first time. Sad thing is. We thought until today. You guys stood by your word. But I learned differently..... This crew just missed out on home made carnitas BBQ sandwiches. All because The manager had to be rude . So now he refused to finish the work. And said he was calling the cops for stolen services. Not sure why he thinks I owe him money for services he won't do.... Guess I'll be seeing you in Court.

I took my wife's Lincoln SUV to switch tires to winter tires. They destroyed one wheel and have refused to make reparations. This happened in November 2019 and have not returned my calls or responded to my many visits to speak with the manager. Additionally, we found out that a year earlier we bought a new tire due to a flat and was replaced with the wrong size tire. That time they did replace it months later but it is beyond me how a tire place can do this! I got tired of trying to follow up to repaint my wife's wheel. We had been taking our 3 vehicles there for 2 years, but won't return after these incidents.

I have been using Big O for tires for the last 5 years. I have been very happy with them. Last week I took my truck in for Radiator, brake fluid and power steering flush. They found a problem with the front end and I agreed on the fix. when I got the truck back the front end was out of alignment. I took it back and they said it was fixed it isn't. While driving the truck home the coolant light came on. So they did not fill the coolant to the correct level so once the thermostat opened it pulled everything out of the radiator and left it empty. I check the power steering and it looked like chocolate milk. The told me the guy did not know how to flush so he just sucked out what he could and replaced the fluid. Not a flush. They did refund my money for the alignment and power steering flush. I really liked these guys, but can't trust the guys in the back to do the job correctly and the manager said he drove the truck and the alignment was good.

I went in for new tires and an oil change. Although the service techs/management were very nice to me, they were talking loudly and rudely about the other techs, and about some customers. I was one of the first customers there, and it took 6 hours (1 hour to have my new tires delivered)! The customer service tech/manager told me I needed a new air filter, and some other things (serpentine belt,etc ). I agreed to the air filter, knowing I would replace the serpentine belt in a week. I just wanted to get out of there and back to work. This week, I changed out the serpentine belt to find that my air filter doesn't look new at all! In fact, it looked like it hadn't even been replaced! Not going back to that store again.

My wife and daughter used a different Big O tires, they went to the one on woodmen 3575 Hartsel road to have my daughter 4-runner tires rotation and balance, When she got home I was told the tire presurre light is still on, So that tell me they did nothing but waste our time. I wonder if they even did the roration

I went to this location for a simple change feom my regular yures to snow tires. I had an appointment at 4pm. My vehicle was not even taken back to get started til after 5:30pm and this is after I asked why. If i hadnt said anything, it would probably have been completely skipped over. I ended up waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes for a tire change. I was at the location until 6:45 pm with my 5 year old. Everyone else got their vehicles completed and I was the last one there. As I got my vehicle back, i noticed that my other tires were not there. That is when the employee proceeded to tell me that he had thrown them away. Without even discussing this with me! I requested them back. Which then took additional time. I have not had an experience like this before at this location and was extremely disappointed in the level of care that was given. Only one associate was truly helpful and that was the associate that i spoke with at 5:30 pm about my car not even being started yet.

Restroom ,store and windows were filthy. Guy behind counter too busy on his smartphone to give good customer service. Poor fellow putting all the tires out for display and then taking care of my vehicle was only one who seemed to be working.

I took our Altima in for an oil/filter change, tire rotation and suspected air leak in one of the tires. Appointment was at 2 PM and scheduled to take about 1.5 hoursWe showed up at 5:30 the car was still on the rack. Service was finally finished about 5:45When my wife drove home she noticed grease and dirt on the steering wheel, window, door and hoodThe next morning the garage floor had multiple oil stains from dripping oilAlso, the front drivers side tire had been inflated to 60psi!

Completely wrong diagnoses.. how does a mechanic mistake a CV axle for a tie rod. Very dissapointed.... Had I allowed their recommendation I'd be out thirteen hundred bucks and my car would still be down.. Or they would have fixed their recommendations then tried to add the two issue on top. Very suspect, down right dishonest.....

I don't usually write reviews at all but I wanted to just give peeps a heads up on the "Big O" experience. I had a pretty easy job, I just needed 2 tires put on, that I had brought in myself. The gentlemen up front told me it would be about an hour total. This made it perfect for me to get back to work and go get my daughter. About 40 minutes went by and my car still wasn't in the shop. I was about to go ask the front desk how much longer they thought it could be due to my schedule, but a gentleman right before me had walked up and was very angry. He yelled at the front desk about how much longer his truck was going to be cause the gentleman had told him the same thing he told me, about an hour. The one older gentleman at the front desk went back to check on the vehicle, came back out with this response, "I'm terribly sorry sir, I made a mistake on the time, it's going to be about another 45 minutes," on top of what he has already been waiting. Meanwhile there is another guy behind the counter who is a little heavier set, had glasses and a scruffy beard, who had been on his cell phone talking about complete non sense that had nothing to do with the services they provide there. Meanwhile a bunch of us waiting around waiting for our stuff to get done. He got another call in, and well on the phone with a customer, tells the other gentleman what he wants from McDonalds, well on the phone with a customer still. Then a young girl came in and he immediately helped her and then was basically flirting with her the whole time I was there and not helping people out AT ALL. I work in customer service and I get it, sometimes you can only do so much, this guy wasn't doing SHIT. I had to order an Uber cause I had places to be and then about 5 minutes after I ordered an Uber, a young gentleman came out of the back and said, "don't worry man, I'll have you in and out." And he did.I wish I would have got his name but I didn't, and he was by far the best worker there. I'm not trying to be a turd, I am just saying that there needed to be a manger there that wants to get business done. The atmosphere of that place was garbage and the peoples expression on their face was a clear sign of that. It wasn't just me or the guy that yelled at the desk, it was EVERYONE there. Thank you to the young man who put my tires on for me, he was fast and efficient. The one good thing about this place. The install price was the best around, $8.00 a tire. Not worth the service for me though.

Your store promised me a seven a.m. appointment to mount four tire. There was no appoint according to the morning shift and there were no tire for me to get put on my vehicle. I left a $300 deposit which I hope you refunded.

I had an appt. For my new tire to get put on, alignment, tire rotation and an oil change. Canceled oil change when I arrived since a coupon was supposed to be provided yet it was still $40. I waited 3 hours to only get my new tire as a service. Had to wait another 20 mins since my tires weren't rotated and still unsure if alignment was completed. This was absolutely unacceptable way to treat a customer. If appt was made, wasted my time and still didn't complete the job...why would anyone use your location for services Not to mention oil/black was all over my carpet and placemat in vehicle.

Never friendly when I come. We were quoted for tie rods and said they needed to be replaced and we already did that 3 mths prior and took it to the place that did then and was told Big O was lieing. I am told the wait is 25 minutes and i wait for over 2 hours. The floor is filty and the customer service is rude and has short patience.

i was given a price on the phone for my oil change. I scheduled the appointment. At the desk in store I was told my price again. At checkout the price was changed for no reason, for the services already scheduled, and discussed, and no other additional services were completed.
