Big O Tires

Had a flat that took 3 trips to Big O to finally get repaired. Apparently, there was a hole that went unnoticed until my third trip there. Now my tire is so unbalanced that I need to have that done as well. My car gets the death shakes at highway speeds and this was not the case previously, so this will entail a 4th trip. At least the staff was professional and friendly.

What I most appreciated was the honesty. I had just had my 30,000 mile check up and maintenance done at the dealership so they did not charge me for the alignment telling me I did not need it. I appreciate that they didn't try to get extra money for work that didn't really need to be done even though I had already signed off on a total price.

The service itself was decent but I am very unhappy with the tires I purchased. I am on a budget and was told the Aspen Touring would work for my needs but found them to be noisy, a rough ride and cause vehicle to handle poorly. I truly wish they would have suggested an alternative to the Aspen brand. I would have been willing to pay a little more for a slightly better quality tire. I also found that the PSI on each tire was set differently. The PSI varies from 30 to 48 which when I adjusted each tire to the correct pressure helped with the handling slightly.

When in for an oil change however because of my work schedule I would have to drop the car off at night. Everybody was very accommodating and very helpful. I'd like to thank Abraham for his excellent customer service!

I took my car in for a routine oil change and to change out my tires for the winter season. Those services were completed and charged appropriately, as they always are. I was told the alignment couldn't be done because of something that would cost $1800 to fix. Took my car to the Toyota dealership and for $95 they aligned my car and said there were no problems. Didn't appreciate the attempt to rip me off. I will continue to use Big O for oil changes and tires but will not ever use them for other mechanical work. Sorry, guys!

They left the plastic on my seat and the paper on the floor we never picked our tires or if their was a choice their is medal on one of the tires don't know why maybe it needed it but i wasn't told anything

They're my go-to for my car... not just tires but oil changes, brakes & repairs... for going on 10 years.

I had my tires rotated and told them one tire was low. I was told all the tires had been filled to recommended psi and the dash light should go off after I drove for a bit. I noticed later that the tires had been rotated but the one was still very low. I stopped and put air in and the dash light went off immediately. I don't like being told something had been completed when it hasn't.

Excellent timely service

I have been going to Big O Tires on East Colfax for many years. This last visit was the first time I had "poor service. I just wanted to have my snow tires put on. No problem. After the tires were put on I told them that one of my tires was registering only 28 lbs. They checked the tires and told me that the computer would reset the tire senor. I was leery about this as the same thing happened when I had my regular tires put on late last spring. I was told to drive the car for a few miles, I did and nothing happened. I went back, one of the guys went around the car and supposedly reset the tire pressure on all 4 tires. Nothing happened. Now my car has an alert that says I need to "service the tire monitor system. Also, one of the guys said that the tire on the left rear side was low and that it might have a screw in it. If that was the case, why didn't they check for it? Also, one of the service people, named Greg, had a VERY bad attitude, enough for me NOT to go back. I still trust this place for my tires, but I will go some place else if this continues. Not satisfied AT ALL with this last experience.

Very good service I would recommend to my friends

Disappointed with the process, lack of customer service, an 1.5 hour wait became 2.5 hours with no explanation, other customers entered, were helped expeditiously and left before i was assisted, felt that employees were only interested in obtaining more services/money from me instead of helping me with the issue at hand, employees were not happy, interested or involved in their work. We've been going to Big O for the past 20 years and will seek different shop to take future car problems.

I needed rear tires was able to get both done but a few days went by and the left rear tire was low. Went back and they just put air in it. Another day passes and I come in from working overnight and tire looks low again so I have to go back to the store just to be told I have a cracked rim. Not very happy this was never checked before the new tires were put on.

Ken Gilsdorf and his crew are simply the best of the best. In and out in 30 min and the job was A+. I'd recommend Ken and this location to anyone and I can't say enough nice things about them.

I've been in twice since I got tires there to tighten bolts that came lose and my wheel almost fell off. One time the guy said I needed a new belt the next time they didn't say I needed a new belt but needed new breaks. He was going to call me with an estament but never did. I see no reason why I should return.

I have always had great service at this Big O location, but this last visit was probably the best. I had a number of things I needed done, so I came in a few days before to go over the list. When I showed up Thursday morning they had the information on file and we went over it again. I was given a quote and they got busy. They said it would take 3 hours and it was 3 hours on the nose. They came in under the initial bid price and even took care of an extra item. As long as I am in the Denver area I won't go anywhere else for my car service needs!

It never fails, every time I take my car in for an oil change I know that I will get a call 20 minutes later trying to upsell me for other things that I need to have fixed on my car. It's one thing when I actually need the stuff done but don't recommend me needing a timing belt done when I had it done a couple years ago. This is one of many examples that occur when I get my oil change done at your location. I come to this location because it's convenient and it's close to my home but it's getting really annoying when you're in town I'll change they want to charge you or request that you do other services
