Big O Tires

I took my car in for routine tire rotation. On the drive home, the low tire pressure indicator came on. I thought the system needed to self-adjust after the rotation, but on checking the pressure at home, all tires were low. I used to be very happy with Big O Tires, but this was very disappointing. It would have only taken them seconds to fill the tires with air.

They took my car at a very busy time and were able to squeeze in a quick diagnostic.When they could not fix the problem, they did not charge for the diag and recommended seeing the dealer.

I had my snow tires swapped for summer tires, and at 65mph the steering wheel wobbled. Took the car to another shop for unrelated maintenance and asked them to check the balance on the tires- 3 out of 4 needed rebalancing. I have been going to Big O for years and never had any problems, but someone did a poor job this time. Balancing at a tire shop should be a no-brainer.

I was told over the phone that a new tire would cost me $75 but when it was all said and done it was $110. The guy at the counter was short with me and rude

1.5 hour wait for an oil change at opening because they refuse to take reservations. They didn't want to take my coupon because I did not print it. I had to remind them that I had spent hundreds of dollars on tires in order to honor my coupon that is on their website. Leather chairs are uncomfortable.

I had a nail in my tire and took it in after work, they should have been closing up for the day, but since I pulled in and needed much assistance, they stayed open a few minutes longer to help me get my tire repaired. Best customer service ever!

Very knowledgeable about tires. Prices escalated throughout sale, skilled salesman for their company but bad for a customer with little background in tires. Good financing program for a buyer caught with unexpected tire expenses. I was approved quickly which was helpful. I signed onto the financing program and completed my purchase of tires. Also a very good location. Asked to wait one hour. Two and half hours later, I saw that my car had been finished for awhile as it was sitting in the lot. I had not been informed it was finished. I approached desk and asked to finish business. The front desk demanded payment. I explained I had already paid through their financing program. Front desk had lost my paperwork. I became angry and explained all payments had been conducte . Eventually, after another 15 minutes, both my payment and my key were located. I finally left after a three hour wait.

Ken spotted a damaged tire on my car, separate from what I came in for, which might have caused a serious blowout. He was great to work with and I appreciated his advice and knowledge. Thanks Ken.

Extremely expensive oil change, $104...

I was very pleased with the service I received, the Tech even found a problem with one of my other tires and repaired it.

I drove into their shop on the temp spare and explained that I was trying to get the car to Greeley to sell it (junk it really, as not of much value). They didn't make any effort to find me the cheapest tire they had in the shop (any used tires?). No - they sell me a tire for a VW Jetta (very small sedan) for $95.00 and babble something about "because it's a "W", that's the cheapest tire we have." I had no idea what they were talking about because it was "tire speak." Then when they discovered the valve stem was "fused" into the tire, they charged me an additional $90 for a new replacement. As distraught as they saw I was, I think they could have dug up some discount coupon to give me a break that day as I was having a nervous breakdown in their shop.

I bought a Groupon for three oil changes. Showed the purchase on phone but was told I needed a punch card. So had to pay for the oil change. I also had some work done under the hood. After, I spoke with a friend that's a mechanic and was told I got ripped off and charged for things i didn't need. Don't think I'll be having any work done here again.

Quick turnaround on getting an oil change and tire rotation.

Your people just do not care. While I waited, I heard one employee telling everyone that another employee is late, again. Then I heard an employee say to a customer, "what would you like me to do?" That same employee said the same thing to me. My question is, what can you do? This is the theme whenever I come to your shop. F.Y.I. I spent $900 yesterday on new tires from the dealer. That's sad when you can't even beat the dealer's price.

Went perfectly, nothing to complain about

Pretty upset that I feel like I wasn't treated with respect and honesty. I was given an estimate over the phone to replace some studs and lug nuts because they had come loose after a brake repair. Not only was the quoted price exceeded by almost 200%, but the labor hours "quoted"� from the supposedly required time was not anywhere near accurate. On top of that, I asked for a flat/leak repair in one of the tires because the next day my girlfriend was taking the suv camping. They did not fix the leak - even though I was charged for it as well. My girlfriend was stranded on her camping trip when she woke up to find a flat tire. This is the type of service that gives mechanics a bad name. I felt like I was buying a used car... the prices kept changing and it was a "bait and switch"� tactic. Even to the point that I was taken out into the bay at one point to "see"� the damage that I already knew was there and the manager, Ken, explained the overpriced service in front of two employees that just stood there and stared at me. I felt basically intimidated into agreeing to the service even though money was an issue.

I had to buy 4 new tires unexpectedly this week, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received at Big O Tires on Colfax. They were fast, affordable, accommodating, and friendly enough to have me laughing before I left the shop. They offered me multiple financing options to match my needs - offering clear explanations of each one. I'm always thrilled to have these guys in my neighborhood.
