Big O Tires

Mick at Big O has been my source for tires and repair to my vehicles since arriving in Boise in 1998. He and all his employees always treat me with honest and fair estimates. Work is always completed when promised.

Always great service! I wanted to have ball joints and front end looked at due to loose feel in steering. Technician identified that the steering box on my truck was actually loose on the frame. They tightened it up which dramatically changed the feel of my steering. I will definitely be back, honesty, integrity, and great customer service!

The guys worked hard to make sure that my car was fixed and safe. They went above and beyond what I expected from a "big chain" business! Thank you for all you hard work and truly caring for your customers.

It is really hard to know if the work being done is necessary or could wait for awhile. I felt like the feedback on both our cars was very detailed and honest. I was provided a number of options for how to address the issues. The issues I had with both of our cars were obviously addressed judging from the nice ride home. Oil change, tire rotation and new shocks and struts were installed. Took longer than I thought, but service was great as always.

With five cars (snow tires and all weather tires on each) we are used to purchasing and swapping out tires, seasonally. On this particular occasion our 16 year old son was heading up to Bogus Basin to ski and we wanted him to have snow tires on his Subaru before he hit the hill. We pulled in to the tire store at 8 am and within an hour he was on the road with studded snow tires. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Thank you.

I love the summary at the end of service to your auto. The tech will let you know about future needs like you have x% left on your brakes, you'll need a cabin air filter at next service... in addition to the always outstanding service.

We had a tire blowout on the way to Boise. The next day we went into Big O Tire on Main Street to get some new tires. The Manager, Louie, was so nice. He helped my mom choose the best tires for her vehicle since we were from out of town. The whole team there were very nice and professional! Thank you!

I was experimenting with some after market suspension components and the shop worked with me on that by returning and reordering alternate items and made multiple adjustments without additional cost.

I have been going to my local Big O since 2001. On this occasion I had a family emergency and needed to get my snow tires changed out and an oil change prior to a 12 hour drive. I arrived just before opening on 4/28/15 and explained the situation. They put a "rush" on it and in 25 minutes all the work was completed and I was on my way. Not only great service but compassionate towards the needs of their customers. I'm a customer for life!

I needed a battery installed quickly so I could go to work. Louis had it installed and paperwork completed in 12 minutes. Can't get any better than that.

Dropped my car off for a tire rotation and for them to check the TPS on my BMW. They called me 30 minutes later to say it was all set to go, only needed reset :) They could have went ahead and said it needed replaced and charged way more than the $20 that they charged. Great service Great folks that work there!

My daughter needed tires on her car after puncturing one of them on a curb. The mechanic at TuneTech referred us to Big O. We worked with Luis, the manager at the downtown Boise location. We were offered our choice of tires, and if we wanted the car aligned if needed. Luis was friendly and helpful. He acutally explained the tire policy to my 16 year old daughter, and treated her with the same respect as if she were an adult. The tires and alignment were completed within a couple of hours--and my daughter reports that her car is handling great--much better than before the new tires. Thank you!!

I am a long-time customer of Big-O on Main Street and cannot say enough good things about the care I get for my car. I totally trust these guys to do the right thing. I rave about their great service to all my friends.

My experience with the guys at the Main Street location in Boise, Idaho was above and beyond. My family and I were dealing with a overheating radiator on our way home to Salt Lake City with the family after a long road trip journey. The guys at this location with the lead of Louie spent an hour assessing, filling and ultimately determining that the overheat had been a fluke. They didn't charge me anything and totally took care of the situation. In total, they spent over an hour and made very sure we were good to go. Super efficient and quick, helpful and knowledgeable. Oh, and it is important to mention that everywhere else was busy for days and these guys got me right in, with no appointment and very little wait. Thanks guys, from the whole family!
