Went in to have muffler inspected for rattle they told me that I need new muffler that mine was cracked in several spots. Went to another mechanic they said it only needed small spot weld where it came loose $60 vs $350 Tried to rip me off

They refused to service the car. They claimed that the car had shards of metal in the oil and told me that I needed a new motor, but I did not. I took the vehicle to another mechanic, the mechanic did a complete inspection on the vehicle and did not find shards of metal and completed the oil change.
