I was charged for a Tire Protection Plan and not told about it (I was told the amount due and the invoice was folded and put in an envelope. When I was home I looked over the invoice. I already have roadside assistance AND I was never asked if I wanted this optional service. I went back to the store on the next business day and was told by whom I assume was the manager that it is Big O Tires Policy to charge customers for this $51.96 service without their permission and if they don't want it, they can come back and ask to have it removed since it's optional. This is dishonest and fraudulent and not ok. I was refunded the $51.96

I recently went to the Gardner, KS location to get 4 new tires put on my car. I was charged for services-Tire Protection Plan-which I never requested nor did I know my credit card was charged for- $51.96. I went back the next day they were open with my paperwork and was told that Big O Tires Policy is to charge customers $51.96 for the Tire Protection Plan without their permission but if they dont want it they can ask to have it taken off, since its optional. $51.96 was returned to me.

I have had great experiences in the past, which is what made my last service at Big O Tires so disappointing. The staff tried to hide issues that arose with my car, and things were actually worse in my car than when I had taken it in. When I brought my car in my brake lights worked normally, but now they remain on even when the engine is off. I have to disconnect my battery every time I stop my car so it won't drain the battery. One staff member tried to bring this to my attention but another member of the staff quickly told him to be quiet. Very disappointed as Big O Tires was my preferred mechanic for years. Will not be returning in the future.

Les, I've been doing business with you for almost 8 years. The last few times I have come in I've been really disappointed. I don't know who this new "sales"� guy is that you have up front, but he is changing your business, and not in a good way. Your shop has now, THREE TIMES, gone ahead and made repairs without calling and letting me know price differences and/or additional problems, misquoted original problems only to be told AFTER THE REPAIRS, that my price was quite a bit higher. Then, to add insult to injury, I go to pick up my car on Thursday June 14th and there is dirty black grease all over my steering wheel, door, seat and floor. That I HAVE TO CLEAN because someone was too lazy to put a floor mat down or wear gloves. I think if I spend 800 bucks on new tires - the LEAST you guys could do is wash your filthy hands and put a floor mat down. I'm disgusted with the pure lack of respect and honesty at your location. And you k ow what Les? I'm pissed off. Christy Connelly

Have been taking car here for several years and thought they were great. Several years ago took car in and had brakes and rotors replaced. Every time we went in for oil change they said we needed them replaced again. Luckily they were under warranty. Got a new car a couple years ago. At last oil change they said brake pads and rotors needed replaced. Took to Carmax and had them look, rotors are fine. Sounds like some sketchy busy to me.

I went to Big O after I determined I could not do the vehicle repair myself. Instead of feeding me info that I needed expensive parts and labor they re-diagnosed the issue to resolve the problem with their repair skills and use my existing parts. They saved me quite a bit of money and gave me more advise on how to avoid the problem in the future. Great job Big O!!!

2 sensors bad i doubt it car is 4 years old the sensors where fine before i choose this place charged me over 100 dollars not again i take my business elsewhere

If you want to be price gouged lies to and not have your problem fixed- this is the place for you! If you want to pick up your car with black grease all over your doors and carpet- this is the place for you. Service has gone downhill. No one cares. They just want to triple charge you for everything they do- including parts- which they will only mention pricing on AFTER they do a repair. Sorry. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool my twice shame on me. Will never go back.

I went to the parts store and had a check done on my new battery to validate my alternator was working correctly as it was running as if the alternator was not working.Equipment hooked up and found bad alternator......so I took it up to Big O to have them replace only to find out alternator was good.....no replacement necessary!

My wife came in yesterday to get work done on her van (oil change). She was told a fuel pump and/or valve needed to be replaced eventually but was not told when it may need to be replaced or the impact of not getting it replaced right away. When inquiring the store attendant was not being very thorough in describing the issue. She asked what it might cost and he told her not to worry about it. She asked again and he said it would be too hard to tell. She again asked for just a ballpark in order to properly budget and then he grudgingly took several minutes looking up calculations on his computer to figure out the cost. During that time, he looked at my wife uncomfortably and asked her what perfume she was wearing. This made her feel very uncomfortable and she then left. We have been loyal customers of Big O for years and now will never return. I expect the store to have better management over its employees so that all customers feel comfortable, like they are heard, and that a woman can walk in and not feel uncomfortable in any way. Big O has lost customers and I will be reporting this incident to management as well as to the public for warning.

I told them on the day I got an estimate for repair that I had a bumper to bumper warranty. I had to cancel my first repair appt due to getting the flu. When I was scheduling a new appt, I was told that you do not accept outside warranties. I wasted 4 days with a company who was not going to fix my truck with the warranty that is nationwide and sold to me by my bank.
