The store could learn a lot for the one in Gardner, KS. I'll stay with big O tires. But won't be back The this one.

I arrived at 7:30 am on a Saturday. There was only one attendant and I waited over 15 or 20 minutes just to be greeted! When it was almost my turn the attendant proceeded to help check OUT a customer before helping me! I was very upset by this!!

Took double the time I was quoted (2 hours instead of 1) to get my tires rotated/balanced, have my alignment checked, and swap out my air filter. I didn't get any phone calls notifying me of this and wasn't told anything until I was in their lobby waiting. They told me my alignment was slightly out, but that they didn't have any more time to service me that day. They then asked me to come in again later that week. I would've liked better communication from them if they suddenly became swamped with work. I also would've preferred more notice if they were going to tell me that they had the appointment times open for me, and then suddenly run out of time to work on my car and not communicate this to me.

Christmas Eve and I needed to get a new tire. One big O store directed me to this one because of staffing, that was impressive. This store was fantastic. Friendly and kind on the holiday.

Called BIG O Tire @ 8:10 AM on 11/18 to set appointment for an oil change, rotate tires and have low beam headlights L&R replaced. Call was answered and says can you hold please...... so 40 minutes of being on hold.... Not sure who I talked to but he did get me scheduled in (12:30 PM same day) for what I wanted done. Arrived @ 12:30pm walk in and have to wait like 15 min. before I even get helped due to one guy (Brent) running the Front and back of shop (other guy had to go home; he got hurt on his way to work). They finally get my car pulled in and I am waiting in the waiting room, waiting and then 2:30pm they pull my car around and I have to wait.. were going to say 10 min. so I see my car and go to the counter and have to wait even longer due to Brent was getting a brake quote done for the other customer who had been there quit a while too. Brent got him taken care of and then it is my turn.... Nothing was said about my car... ie brakes battery if any levels were low. Paid and headed back to work, on my way back to work the car almost died at a stop light... I make it back to work, go in and call Big O tire and Brent says bring it back down, I did~ they pulled it in and popped the hood and started pushing everything back into place they did not find anything that was wrong; so I headed back to work. So I am looking at my Invoice that I paid for and noticed that they put in One OE light and One NAP 9003 brand of headlights, I would think you put in the same thing but what do I know..... I was a repeat customer but I think next time I will go elsewhere~

I got right in, no wait time. They rotated my tires and did a great job. Made sure the air was correct, etc.

Got in quick for a rotation/balance and fix a tire. Tire was repaired but when they did the rotation/balance, they forgot to check the inflation of 3 tires. Low tire light came on soon after I left the shop and I checked my tires. The one they fixed was at the correct pressure but the other 3 were down by 5-6 pounds. If it wasn't for that specific lack of attention to detail, I would have given them a higher mark. This store got me in quickly over the other stores in the area. I went to the 119th & Metcalf location and they said they could not squeeze me in even though there was only 1 car in the shop and no cars waiting. I believe, as many businesses, they are having trouble hiring good dependable employees. At the Wornall location I was treated rudely.

When an appointment is made. It just means you have a slot. It might be 6 hours later before they get started

The gentleman that assisted me in getting my tires rotated and balanced was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. He was able to quickly assist and give me helpful and useful information for the future for maintaining my car's tire longevity. This gentleman was very personable as well. I mentioned that my spouse is active duty, and he mentioned his family's past with the military. I felt welcomed, taken care of, and I trust the service I received at this Big-O location.

Dropped the car off for an alignment after installing new struts, shocks and new inner and outer tie rods on the car, myself. The car was aligned quickly, which was nice. The print out of the alignment before and after specs did not have my cars make,model or name listed. So no way to tell this came from the work done on my car and did not include what the in-spec perimeters were and that the end set-up done by the mechanic was truly in-spec. The mechanic also did not put the clamp back on the end of the tie rod boot. Minor I know, but irritating and careless non the less. The car tracks straight and does not pull, so I will consider the job "good enough". I used this same shop when it was NTB and had a terrible experience back then (tech crushed a lower body panel by using incorrect jacking location and then denied doing so) . I see things have not gotten much better, unfortunately.

I had nothing but fast and courteous service from my first phone call to schedule an oil change to the check out process at the end. Best Big O store I've found so far in the Kansas City area. I was able to schedule an appointment on my first try without being put on endless hold. The next day my appointment could not have gone faster or smoother. I was in and out of the shop in an hour for an oil change, tire repair, and tire rotation. AND at such a reasonable price!! It was well worth the extra drive to get to this shop and I'll return here for my next oil change. I bypassed the closest Big O north of me on Wornall. They are the worst. Terrible communication, apathetic customer service interactions, incomplete to wrong information. I do not recommend that shop.

I spent two and a half hours waiting for simple oil change. My car was taking right in after arriving. And after all that my tires were not rotated

Came in with a nail in my tire (roofing nail on the edge of the tread area), went out 3 hours later with 4 new tires. I didn't think my old tires were bad, but they did have 40k miles on them. Guy up front didn't know what to do, so had to wait for a co-worker to determine if they "had" to replace all 4 tires, or if 1 or 2 is sufficient... of course it was 4. Didn't reset the low pressure warning light - had to go back in to ask them to do it - took another 15 mins for them to figure it out. Wheels were rubbed up and dirty. Can't recommend.

I went there for two new tires and an oil change I don't have an appointment and the guy said that it would be a couple of hours. They got it done in an hour and a half.

On 12/29/2019 at 4:18 pm, I drove my truck in to have a construction screw pulled and a plug inserted into the hole, which was dead center of the tire. After waiting for 30 minutes they brought my tire into the waiting area, off the rim, to show me a 3 inch slit on the inside tirewall. I believe the someone cut the tire so he could sell me a new one, because the material in the slit was black rubber and not dusty or dirty like the rest of the tire. Because of the damage I was forced to buy a new tire and have it installed. I am currently looking for new tires for both my cars as they both are getting close to needing replacement. I WILL NOT even look at this company for the 8 tires.
