The store accidentally broke a perfectly good tire and replaced it with a used Aspen tire that's a whole different tread. Best part their making me purchase a new tire.

The staff was friendly. But, I had an appointment for 11 am it was 12 before they ever got my car in the shop and when they said they were about done I had to remind them that I was also getting an alignment, with that being said it was 2pm before I ever got out of there. I asked the guy on the phone when I called and made the appointment how long would it take he said it wouldn't be that long maybe a half an hour or so and i was there for over 3. I wonder why I even made an appointment? I would have had someone come and get me but no I sit there for 3 hrs.

We bought 4 new tires for our 2015 Chevy Suburban in July 2016 right after we purchased it from NTB which was located where Big O is currently. These companies have always been associated with one another and when we purchased the tires we actually put them on the credit card that NTB and Big O offer together. I had to take the vehicle back within weeks due to an intense vibration and requested that they fix the issue , which they attempted but a couple of weeks later I experienced the same issue. I then took my vehicle to the dealership where they were able to handle the issue until I started having the same issue a couple months ago. I then returned my vehicle to the dealership where they attempted to do a road force balance but unfortunately it was discovered that 2 of my tires actually had " rough spots" on them that would not allow for proper balancing from the time I purchased the tires. I then went into the Big O location on 9/7/17 and spoke with Sam, the store manager. I explained the issue I was having and he was able to locate my information in the computer but couldn't see my invoice, which I then provided to him. He stated that since they were Big O and independently owned that he couldn't do anything for me without contacting his NTB representative. He also stated that by seeing my issue and that I had to bring my vehicle back within weeks of purchasing the tires that NTB should have replaced them at that point. I explained to him that I previously had lived in Shelbyville and did all my business with Big O there for over 5 yrs and that I chose NTB due to me having knowledge of them being intertwined somehow. He stated that he would contact me by that evening after he spoke with the NTB representative in order to handle this issue. I did not hear from Sam that evening nor all day the following day until I called him. He stated that he couldn't reach the NTB representative due to Hurricane Irma but was able to reach the representative's boss , which I asked why couldn't his boss handle the issue but he stated that he couldn't ?? I was then promised by Sam that he would contact me the following Monday 9/11/17 with info to resolve this issue. I waited patiently and never heard from Sam on 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, 9/14, 9/15, not 9/16. I then called Sam on 9/18 and he stated that he had been out of town the previous week due to a family issue. He then proceeded to ask me to refresh his memory on why I WAS CALLING! It was very obvious he had no intention of ever calling me back . He then stated that he was " printing my ticket" again and would get a hold of the NTB representative and call me back immediately . I have still not heard back from Sam the store manager!! This is very disheartening , disappointing and quite honestly unacceptable . There is no accountability on either companies parts and this is not how to gain customers but it sure is the way to lose one as well as the repercussions of word of mouth... I would have expected a much higher level of customer care, especially from a company that just recently started doing business in our community....

The service was good and fast. I applied for part time and had to call twice. I think it's good management when they call you to let you know that your hired or not.

I just want to say it is rather scary trying to stop your car when your tire starts to blow out! My car shredded my front tires less than a month after have an alignment in the Georgetown Kentucky location. I complained of the popping noise and asked if the car would need a ball joint. Nope only an alignment. Then less than a month I have a blow out and after going back to the shop, now they say I need the ball joint and much more!!! Well I would have rather had not had the experience of a tire blow out when driving and got the correct service the first time. So now I've gone elsewhere to get my work preformed

I went to the store on Saturday but the customer service representative told me that it would be a lengthy wait. I made an appointment for 7:30 Monday morning but when I arrived it wasn't in the computer. I was next but I still waited for 2 hours for a simple oil change!

Long story short my car sounds worse than it did when I took it to big O. I don't know a lot about cars but I know that I shouldn't have to keep spending money for my car to sound worse. I apparently have problems with my that wasn't seen when big o changes my tires a couple months ago. I won't be coming back. I'm disappointed because the location was so convenient and I thought the workers had my best interest. Thanks anyway.

I made my appointment on Sunday utilizing the online service & requested an oil change, brake Inspection and replacement of necessary equipment if anything found during inspection. I scheduled my appointment for 9am Monday and dropped my car off at 5am on my way into work. I followed up shortly after 10am and my vehicle had not even been looked at, I explained the reason for brake inspection was due to noise braking from passenger rear and that my ABS light was coming on intermittently & the service tech explaned that the shop was busy which was why I hadn't heard anything yet but I would receive a call with their findings. By 2:30 I had not heard back from the shop so again called to find out the status of my vehicle. I was informed that the oil pan gasket was leaking and would need replaced, that the front passenger hub bearings were bad and needed replaced & the rear brake pads needed replaced as well but the rest of the braking system looked good. Bad news was the hub bearings needed ordered but would be in mid-day Tuesday. I authorized the work and figured my car would be ready end of day Tuesday. Tuesday around noon I called on my lunch to check on the car and was informed that the work hadn't been started yet but should be done by end of the day. I called around 3 and was informed that during the brake pad installation it was noticed that the rear passenger caliper was worn and needed replaced as well and the car wouldn't be ready for pickup until Wednesday. I was upset that this was somehow missed during the initial inspection but it needed replaced and would only be charged for the labor for the caliper replacement. Wednesday comes and still no call from anyone on my car. I call again and am told that my vehicle again won't be ready until end of day most likely sometime Thursday. I explained again my frustration and feeling of my vehicle not being prioritized and worked on & how I was being inconvenienced with my vehicle not being repaired going on 4 days into its initial service request. Finally on Thursday around 10 I was called and informed my car was repaired and ready for pickup. I have purchased 2 complete sets of tires and have had the brakes replaced by Big O Tires as well as have had my vehicle serviced here in Georgetown the past 4 years since moving to Kentucky. This service was by far the worst I have received anywhere and doubt I will return let alone recommend this shop

I purchased a battery, but a cable was left loose which resulted in me being stranded in the middle of the night in a storm, I sold sold roadside assistance for my tires, but when I called I was told my plan didn't cover towing, which my advisor has said was covered in the roadside assistance. I had to pay $80 to have the vehicle towed in and was unable to work the following day waiting on the vehicle to be seen and repaired and when I asked to be reimbursed, I was told no. I work at Toyota in Georgetown KY with nearly 10,000 employees and trust me, I'll make sure anyone I work with understands the hassle of dealing with Big O Tires.

It was the first time I've been disappointed with Big O and the store in Georgetown KY. Thought I needed an alternator or starter, advised I have an extended warranty and had already contacted the company to confirm part would be covered. Gave Big O guys my coverage policy and the number to call so that they are paid. The coverage company had advised me that they would give Big O a one time credit card number to charge the repairs to. Big O staff said" yeah we don't really mess with that, you'll need to pay and they can reimburse you." Turns out I needed a car battery, which they said was 375.00! I googled and found the same battery for 199.97 just down the street. No offer to price match, no nothing, stated the 375.00 was the price they had to charge per distributor. Told me that I should go down the street and buy that one. WOW! So i did indeed go literally maybe 1/2 mi down the road, bought the battery and had it installed for free. Hugely disappointed in my experience, and not sure I'll go back if that is how female customers are treated.

I went in for my first oil change there. I drove 30 miles afterwards and my engine messed up. I called them and they came to where I was and saw I had no coolant in my car at all. I have to replace the whole motor in my car and they said it had nothing to do with them and was not their fault. The only thing they offered was to cut me a deal on putting a new motor in. I was highly upset. I've had my car for 3 years and have never had a problem with my engine until they changed the oil.

After 1 son was told a faulty tire with road hazard coverage could either be replaced or repaired, it not being his car and him not having on hand cash for hazard on a new tire, he opted to repair. It didn't take. Another son brought the car back to be told the tire damage didn't qualify for replacement. All this after I had 2 fairly new tires tossed when I bought a full set on a different car. Nobody asked what was to be done with my tires, they just got tossed.

took 2 hours for an oil change-I arrived at 7;45 am, yes I do have a diesel 4x4, he asked what type of oil I used- I said it had 15-40 in at the moment-apparently 15-40 was not available in the store so they had to send out for it. I think we could have used a different weight oil? and saved me 2 hrs?

bought two tires for my Camry and also had tires alignment for all four tires two or three weeks later i went to get a oil changed at a near by Midas and to put a different wheel inside the spare tire which was taken off my car so the new tires from bigO could be put on during that process i was told that the spare that was put in the back of my car by the bigO mechanic was not my spare but was one of the tires with a large puncture in it, was not to happy to hear that

Robert

By Robert | 9/6/2019

I was there for 2 hours to get 2 tires. I was not given a clear estimate of cost. I asked to have the alignment checked so I could get that done also but was not told I needed it until my car was out of the bay. But at that point I just wanted to get out of there.

I said my car had a rattle underneath and thought it was a loose exhaust pipe. They took 3 days to order a part and when I got my car back the rattle was exactly the same. The issue they fixed was a flapping at high speed, which was never a complaint I had. It seems they mixed up my issue with someone else. They did not charge me labor on account to it taking three days, but I'm still out $200 on a part I didn't need. I will not be using this shop ever again.

Michael

I had all rotors and pads replaced in addition to rear calipers. I feel I was grossly overcharged for the rear calipers. I was told there would be no labor for putting on the calipers since they were working in that area but when I picked it up I was charged for that labor. Total cost over $700. When we picked the car up my wife drove 1/2 block and said she could hardly stop. I drove it back to Big O and to stop the car I had to go all the way to the floor with the peddle. They had not bleed the brake lines correctly. And did NOT even test drive it following the work. Unacceptable.

I came in on October 5th to get new tires for my van and paid with a check. The check was ran through the scanner and processed as an electronic payment. On October 19th the same check was ran through my bank from Big O Tires to charge me again for the same transaction which then put my checking account into the negative and resulted in me having to pay an overdrawn fee at my bank. Luckily the bank caught the mistake when I checked with them. I want to know why the check was processed a second time on your end? I feel like I was taken advantage of.

Super happy with customer service and the actual oil change. BIG upset for me was I had HUGE GREASE stains on my carpet floor mat and driver door handle and arm rest. It took me an extra hour at home to try and scrub it all out. This is inexcusable tdy when you guys have paper mats. He was sitting on one but no where else did he think to place one.
