After the issue following my previous visit, I questioned myself as to whether or not to return. Your shop is conveniently located, and I can leave my vehicle and come back when it is completed. On my last visit, I drove my vehicle home from your shop with the undercarriage protective cover dragging underneath. The mechanics had to come to my home to reattach it properly. I also noted that the free tire rotation that was included in the coupon had not occurred. The mechanics who came to my house drove my vehicle back to your shop, rotated the tires, and brought it back. So this time, I was unsure whether I should return. But I received an email from your shop, inviting me to get my oil changed and free tire rotation, by scheduling an appointment. So I took advantage of your invitation and brought my vehicle in at the scheduled appointment time of 1:00. I did not receive a call that my vehicle was ready until after 6:00. When I came to pick up my vehicle, it was still on the rack getting the tires rotated. It wasn't ready until 6:20. For a 1:00 appointment. The excuse given was that they get behind. I get that. But 5+ hours is too far behind. They had to have been taking vehicles without an appointment ahead of my vehicle. My oil change was comped, and I appreciate that, but the service is not what the manager should expect from the employees.

My appointment was on 2/4/19, at 1pm EST. When I arrived, Alec Borg saw that I had a free oil change coupon. It had expired in 12/2018, but Alec honored it anyway. He asked for the keys to my vehicle & I told him they were in the car. The store wasn't very busy so my car was taken back immediately. Because I had an appointment and wasn't a walk in, I wondered what was taking so long just to change oil and the usual tire rotation. (This was my 2nd visit at Big O; the 1st visit was excellent! This one, just the opposite!) I ended up leaving Big O around 2:30pm. A while later, Alec came to the waiting area and said that two problems were found: 1) my tires were dry rotting. I asked which ones, Alec said all four. KEY QUESTION: Alec asked me where I purchased the tires, I told him I didn't know because they came with the car when I purchased it. Then he said, they are just getting old, tires dry rot when they are like that. 2) Next he said, the next problem is even more serious: you need brakes. I asked which ones, he said front only. Alec said the rotors had grooves in them and the brakes were worn also. I knew immediately that this description didn't sound anything like the car I brought in for an oil change! Alec gave me print outs of tire quotes and a verbal quote for the brake repair. There was a mechanic in the area when Alec quoted brakes & rotors; not sure of his name. That mechanic asked me if my car vibrates when I stop; I said no, it has never done that with me. He said he hadn't even looked at the brakes (meaning someone else did.) He went and checked, came back & told me that I didn't need rotors, only brakes. I thanked them & told Alec that I have a friend that does brakes & I would check with him. I also asked if my friend couldn't get to them, could they replace the brakes on Wednesday, 2/6,19, Alec said sure. I paid for the balance of my oil change and left the store. I ran a couple of errands and went home. Something felt different with my car but I wasn't sure what. The next day, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, I had (2) Dr. appointments in Lexington, KY. The furthest and 1st appointment was about 16 miles from my house. I'm stating this just to give an idea of how much I drove on unsafe tires and brakes. When I was finished with the last Dr. appt., I looked at my tires again & I immediately had a sinking feeling! I REALIZED THEN THAT MY TIRES HAD BEEN SWITCHED OUT FOR THE BAD TIRES ON MY CAR! (My original tires that were on the car were much taller & wider. The wheel weld didn't show much; now it looks "naked" because so much wheel weld is exposed & it doesn't ride the same as before.) I came back to Georgetown (where I live) & stopped at Walmart. Rain was in the forecast for 2/6, so I tried to avoid being on the road with bad brakes & unsafe tires. I was scared to death to drive that far in that condition! Before I ever purchased that car in 8/2017, I had a mechanic look it over; he couldn't remember what tires were on it originally but he did give me a brake quote based on Big O's evaluation. My mechanic friend didn't literally inspect the brakes. BOTTOM LINE: I WAS SCAMMED AT BIG O ON 2/4/19! The original tires that were on my vehicle were removed and replaced with older ones from the store (not the wheels, tires only) and my brakes were spongy, after I left that appt. Prior to that appt., my brakes were fine. Now it takes longer to stop so I have to plan my stops accordingly. My vehicle is an SUV & is very heavy. Please note that I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is my personal responsibility to maintain my vehicle in a safe manner at ALL times! If I drive an unsafe vehicle and cause an accident, then I would be blood-guilty. This goes counter to everything I believe in. I contacted my local Sheriff's department about what Big O did and they referred me to the Georgetown Police. The Georgetown Police told me that I need to contact Big O Corporate; hence this feedback/letter. The Police also advised me to take pic

I had an 8am appointment and left my car for an oil change and tire rotation. They said they would call when it was ready. No call at 1pm so I called back. They said they did not have the oil filter but it would be there in 15 minutes. No call by 2 pm so we went went to the store to see if it was finished. It was but it took a long time to checkout. I have been going to this store for years and this is the first time I have had such terrible service. Strike One.

Store never called back for a follow up appointment. Put the wrong lug nuts on my truck and when I went back the manager even told me he would not have put them on his truck when they put them on mine. Said they would replace them and still have yet to hear back from them 2.5 weeks later. So I went out and bought new lug nuts to replace the ones they put on and out more money that they said they would fix.

When I went in to have my tires rotated I was conned into a free 22 point inspection that was supposed to include a free tire rotation .. I never got a tire rotation and the 22 point inspection required $800 worth of work, which must have been pure luck because that was the exact amount of my credit approval .... I should have realized these guys were just con artists from the way they talked but I gave them a chance .. and I have never regretted anything more.. after working on my truck, the mechanic forgot to drain the old oil and the antifreeze that drained into the engine while he replaced on the manifold gasket ... he added new oil to the old fluids and had over 15 quarts of fluid in my engine,... it destroyed my truck .. and it has been more than a month now, and Big O Tires has not made any effort to repair my vehicle... and today .. while they still have custody of my truck...on their lot .. they attempted to bill me for the repairs they have never made... I can't make this crap up and I am a creative writer....

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, I scheduled an 11:00 am appointment for Friday, Feb. 21 for an oil change and tire rotation (an invitational coupon I received in the mail). I dropped off the car around 10:50. I got a call that my car was ready for pickup at 3:30 (4.5 hours later). When I drove the car home, I heard a thumping noise coming from underneath the car. It sounded as if a tire went flat. When I got home, I backed into my driveway like I always do, and I checked the tires. That's when I noticed the under car shield had not been reattached properly, and was dragging on the ground, and protruding from the front of my car. The Big O technicians had to come to my house, detach the shield, take my car back to your garage to reattach it, and return it. Also, I noted that the tire rotation that was supposed to be completed had not happened, and pointed it out the the technicians when they picked up the car. The tires were rotated when they returned it.

The store accidentally broke a perfectly good tire and replaced it with a used Aspen tire that's a whole different tread. Best part their making me purchase a new tire.

I got an oil change. They were quick about it but I had to crawl under my truck to wipe off oil that spilled when they took filter off. I worried somthing was wrong when i ame back out with big oil spot on driveway after driving 2miles away. Who trains these kids? What about lpride in your work? It was affordable, but service inside bay stinks! its a Bunch of teenagers turned loose with little supervision working on your car if u go to Big O! The mgr was very knowledgeable but it stops there I think. Oh, and I checked my lug nuts after 200miles and saw that I now have broken center cap. Wonder who broke that ?

We bought 4 new tires for our 2015 Chevy Suburban in July 2016 right after we purchased it from NTB which was located where Big O is currently. These companies have always been associated with one another and when we purchased the tires we actually put them on the credit card that NTB and Big O offer together. I had to take the vehicle back within weeks due to an intense vibration and requested that they fix the issue , which they attempted but a couple of weeks later I experienced the same issue. I then took my vehicle to the dealership where they were able to handle the issue until I started having the same issue a couple months ago. I then returned my vehicle to the dealership where they attempted to do a road force balance but unfortunately it was discovered that 2 of my tires actually had " rough spots" on them that would not allow for proper balancing from the time I purchased the tires. I then went into the Big O location on 9/7/17 and spoke with Sam, the store manager. I explained the issue I was having and he was able to locate my information in the computer but couldn't see my invoice, which I then provided to him. He stated that since they were Big O and independently owned that he couldn't do anything for me without contacting his NTB representative. He also stated that by seeing my issue and that I had to bring my vehicle back within weeks of purchasing the tires that NTB should have replaced them at that point. I explained to him that I previously had lived in Shelbyville and did all my business with Big O there for over 5 yrs and that I chose NTB due to me having knowledge of them being intertwined somehow. He stated that he would contact me by that evening after he spoke with the NTB representative in order to handle this issue. I did not hear from Sam that evening nor all day the following day until I called him. He stated that he couldn't reach the NTB representative due to Hurricane Irma but was able to reach the representative's boss , which I asked why couldn't his boss handle the issue but he stated that he couldn't ?? I was then promised by Sam that he would contact me the following Monday 9/11/17 with info to resolve this issue. I waited patiently and never heard from Sam on 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, 9/14, 9/15, not 9/16. I then called Sam on 9/18 and he stated that he had been out of town the previous week due to a family issue. He then proceeded to ask me to refresh his memory on why I WAS CALLING! It was very obvious he had no intention of ever calling me back . He then stated that he was " printing my ticket" again and would get a hold of the NTB representative and call me back immediately . I have still not heard back from Sam the store manager!! This is very disheartening , disappointing and quite honestly unacceptable . There is no accountability on either companies parts and this is not how to gain customers but it sure is the way to lose one as well as the repercussions of word of mouth... I would have expected a much higher level of customer care, especially from a company that just recently started doing business in our community....

Complete terrible I came in to get a oil change I couldn't find nobody upfront I had a walk around the store to find somebody I asked the mechanics and they said that the manager left and he would be back you would think that they would have two salesmen up there but they don't I had to wait around 15 minutes for him to come back on top of a 45 minute oil change my tires weren't rotated my fluids weren't filled I definitely had a bad experience here I would not recommend it for someone else they really need to do something with management if you could just leave and come back knowing there's no one else there I wasn't the only person waiting some one needs to fix this issue fast!

I just want to say it is rather scary trying to stop your car when your tire starts to blow out! My car shredded my front tires less than a month after have an alignment in the Georgetown Kentucky location. I complained of the popping noise and asked if the car would need a ball joint. Nope only an alignment. Then less than a month I have a blow out and after going back to the shop, now they say I need the ball joint and much more!!! Well I would have rather had not had the experience of a tire blow out when driving and got the correct service the first time. So now I've gone elsewhere to get my work preformed

After spending almost 700, I was very upset that the new rim they put on my back tire was bent, yes it was used but they should have replaced it, they did not want to change it

Long story short my car sounds worse than it did when I took it to big O. I don't know a lot about cars but I know that I shouldn't have to keep spending money for my car to sound worse. I apparently have problems with my that wasn't seen when big o changes my tires a couple months ago. I won't be coming back. I'm disappointed because the location was so convenient and I thought the workers had my best interest. Thanks anyway.

I purchased a battery, but a cable was left loose which resulted in me being stranded in the middle of the night in a storm, I sold sold roadside assistance for my tires, but when I called I was told my plan didn't cover towing, which my advisor has said was covered in the roadside assistance. I had to pay $80 to have the vehicle towed in and was unable to work the following day waiting on the vehicle to be seen and repaired and when I asked to be reimbursed, I was told no. I work at Toyota in Georgetown KY with nearly 10,000 employees and trust me, I'll make sure anyone I work with understands the hassle of dealing with Big O Tires.

I went in for my first oil change there. I drove 30 miles afterwards and my engine messed up. I called them and they came to where I was and saw I had no coolant in my car at all. I have to replace the whole motor in my car and they said it had nothing to do with them and was not their fault. The only thing they offered was to cut me a deal on putting a new motor in. I was highly upset. I've had my car for 3 years and have never had a problem with my engine until they changed the oil.
