Went in for a State Inspection (quick and cheap, that's good), was told that my brake pads were just above 1mm (the minimum) and I would pass inspection but any further driving out of the parking lot would be dangerous because my brakes were just oh so worn. The guy tried to smooth talk me into paying nearly $400 for new front brakes and rotors. I bought the parts online for $80 and replaced them myself. But the kicker here is that MY BRAKE PADS WHEN I LOOKED MYSELF were nowhere NEAR 1mm and were only about half worn! "BIG O Tires: The Team I Will Never Trust"

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Brandon for all of the time he puts in on my vehicles. Several times I have had some not so easy of issues to figure out. He does not get discouraged and always takes the time to listen to my thoughts as to what the problem might be as well as putting his expertise to work in order to resolve the issue. This is a great group of guys that work together to get the job done. This is why I keep coming back and always recommend Big O to other people. One thing that I miss and would like to see come back is the road force balance machine. There are times a standard balance does not work and it would be nice if this were in-house. Thank you, Greg

1 3/4 hours is way too long to change oil. It didn't even include a tire rotation.

my battery went dead as I was picking up my grand kids from school. I called ANDY (I have been a customer for many years). Andy is always willing to help me and be fair. He is great. He told me to bring in my car and he would see that I was taken care of. Upon arriving he and his people took me right in and solved my problem. You are very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and great employee as he is. I want to make sure the right person gets this because he deserves a pat on the back. thanks, peggy grefrath

I took my car in to have a leak fixed and have the tiresbalanced and rotated. You're upfront service is great but the tires were not properly balanced and you left my hood latched but not down all the way so when I got on the the high way it almost popped all the way open from the wind. So service great, quality of work sucks

I have been a customer for several years and have never had a problem before with customer service. However, this time I was very much ignored and since you have sent me a form, I must tell you why I gave the rating I did. I was not greeted when I arrived and actually felt like an intruder, the men, 3, continued to talk amongst themselves and ignored me as I waited for at least 2 minutes at the counter for them to finish their non-work related conversation. When the service operator told me my car would pass inspection, but I was very close to a fail with my rear tires, I decided to purchase tires, but I had to ask for the price, I honestly do not know what type of tire I bought. Then after sitting a little while I thought to ask if an alignment would be included, again, they said they could, that was another cost, I had to wait again, at the counter, as a male customer stepped in front of me and another talked on the phone The customer service was very poor. I had to ask for an oil change, I came in for a vehicle inspection, I bought 2 rear tires. and oil change, I paid beforehand while the tech wrote the safety inspection. No one told that next service person, I had already paid and I had to explain this to him, so he just gave me my key and inspection paper. I was not thanked and had to ask where my car was parked. The same thing was done as I paid my bill, the serviceman started talking to another worker and just walked away.I just went and sat down. I have to say the Male customers were greeted promptly and treated in a much more professional friendly manner, I know because I was in the store quite a long time, They were not busy but they took their time inspecting my car.

It took more than 2.5 hours to replace 1 tire, which was disappointing. While I anticipated some wait time, it seemed like many walk in customers came in after me and had their services complete before my car was even brought into the shop. Perhaps an appointment would have been better, but I certainly didn't plan on having a flat.

Great facilities and great service. They made sure everything was right and didn't try to get me to buy stuff I didn't need.

I went there because I a had both tires on drivers side losing air. After an hour wait in the lobby they came back to tell me they couldn't find a leak on the tires on PASSENGER side. So I had to sit for another hour while they checked out the proper side. They came back to say they repaired the leaks. Both were apparently in the bead that sealed it. In repairing they deactivated all my tire sensors because one was bad. They never told me about it so I had to come back just to have them tell me they couldn't reprogram them until the bad one was replaced. Later that same night I came out to find both tires flat. The next day I took it to the other Big O. They determined that both rims had cracks in them and even went so far as to bring me in the shop to show me. This took about 15 minutes. The other Big O was 10 times more friendly, thorough and professional.

It took over 2.5 hours to get in and out and they weren't event that busy when I first got there. Took my car right in and then in just had to wait. First thinking it's a patch job but after 1.5 hours they tell me I need a whole new tire and then I have to wait another 1 for them to put it on the car. Rather annoying overall.

The price per tire on the website was lower than what the customer service agent charged me. I had an appointment to get the tires installed at 10:30 on a Saturday. Customer service agent said he would call if there was any issues. As I was walking into the store at 10:30 he called me saying he did not have the tires because the warehouse was closed. He then offered to sell me a another tire for the same price which was a 60000 mile tire instead of the 70000 mile tire that he could not get.

I had an oil change and tire rotation Sat 8/27/16. As I left the store, smoke and burnt oil smell came from under the hood. I was in a hurry, stopped and found oil had been spilled on valve cover, exhaust manifold, battery, and engine belt. I quickly washed it off at a car wash. Second was my daughter took her car there to get two slow leak flat repairs done. They only fixed one, and when my daughter confronted someone who accompanied her to look at it, she pointed out a nearly flat tire and this persons response was "yeah, looks a little low"... It was the tire that had not been repaired and he made no effort to correct the issue.

Big O went out of their way to provide the best options when I had my oil plug stripped in my Ford.

Third strike.. they put the wrong oil in my truck. The sales person then tried to argue with me about it. They did make it right and had me come back to change it to the correct oil. Strike one: they scratched the mirror on my truck and blamed me for it, but still paid for it to get repaired. Strike two told me my ball joints needed replaced on my jeep, (which after taking it to two other places it was determined it didn't need it, both places stated so). Their business plan is horrible. If the sales staff werent so worried about their commison perhaps errors wouldnt be made and they wouldnt lie to their customers to pad their pockets. It seems that the only thing they can do correct is rotate tires.

Put more than just 2 people up front instead of relying on 2 main people to deal with customers in the store, in the garage area, & on the phones, it is too much! At least have backups to them so they have more help with customers on & off the phones as well as if 1 takes off & the other is doing it all by themselves! This is @ the Big O in Jefferson City near Ellis Blvd.
