This is the 3rd time I was told I had the right the rod broken during an inspection. 3 separate cars with the exact same issue is a suspicious and to top that off the $130 for the "required" alignment. I will NEVER use this store again.

Didn't grease anything on the front end, pretty sure all they did was drop oil n filter and replace. Paid for a service and an inspection.

I had a really nice experience with the employees at the Jefferson St. Store. They were kind and explained things to me in a timely manner. I appreciate that I never got the feeling that I was being tricked into something. In fact, I knew of a problem with my car but didn't mention it because I wasn't prepared to get it fixed, and they noticed it without me saying a word. Because they were so attentive and efficient, I ended up getting that problem fixed, too, knowing that I would be taken care of.

Been to bigo several times for stuff. This time could be one of my last though. Put on extra parts and labor that I had not approved. They did drop labor but I still had to pay for the parts. Also, I requested a tire rotation, and was assured they had done it. But I can tell by my rims on my van it was not done. They were also supposed to check the alignment but I don't think they did that either. And they didn't give me a print out of proof of running it through the alignment machine.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received form The store Manager John. After several visits trying to figure out the issue with my car. I had several things done and the problem was not solved. At this time I was getting very upset and was ready to go somewhere elseafter 15 years. John Lindesmith took control. The issue was solved, repairs done within a few days. My car was delivered to me. This was the best service I have ever received.

My wife was travelling to Missouri from Texas for a family medical emergency. About 30 minutes from Jefferson City, her oil dash light came on. She took her car to the Big O Tires Jefferson Street location. While her car was there, the staff notified her that one of her axle arms was damaged and would need to be replaced. She agreed and had the axle work performed. As for the oil light, she was told by the staff that her car was fine and only needed an oil change. She agreed to the oil change. Big O performed the axle repair and oil change. After she was given the keys to the car, she noticed that the oil light on the dash was still illuminated. She, then went back into the store to question the oil light. "Cody" assured her that he pressure tested the oil pump and that everything was functioning as it should. She reiterated the fact that she needed to be sure the car was fine (she is somewhat knowledgeable of cars, and was still very uncertain), as she would be making a 14 hour drive home to Texas. Again, the technician said the car would be fine. Upon completion of the services, my wife took her car, completed her family business, and began the drive back to Texas. After arriving and spending the night at my parents' house in Dallas, she got up the next day to finish the drive back to New Braunfels, TX (between Austin and San Antonio). Upon turning the key, the car would not start and was making a very unusual noise, not indicative of a bad battery or starter. After driving to Dallas to pick her up, we summoned a mobile mechanic for a diagnosis. As it happens, the engine was completely destroyed due to lack of oil circulation. The piston rings and camshaft were completely damaged beyond repair. At this point, the car will have to be sold as junk. Furthermore, in an effort to replace the car, we cannot secure a loan for a new car due to the fact that neither she nor I are working due to the current coronavirus hysteria. As anyone can imagine, I am livid beyond comprehension. I am also interested to hear Big O's response to my claim. *Big O Tires: Be notified that a formal response to this matter is expected within 72 hours. If none is received, I will not hesitate to plaster this experience on every internet review site I can find. My outrage at this experience will not go unnoticed.

Came in for alignment. Was told I needed new struts. Told them I couldn't afford to do it now, don't do ANYTHING. They did the alignment anyway and charged me.

Kevin did it again. I come to this store because he's friendly and knowledgeable. He got me into some great tires for a good price. They got done in great time and I will come back for sure.

I knew my car needed a few replacement parts prior to getting the front end aligned. I purchased quality parts on my own and brought the parts with me, informed the service tech of what I needed and let him know the parts where in the car. I was charged $89.99 for the alignment, which is a fair price. However, I was charged for 3 hours labor to install the parts. My car was in the shop far less than 2 hours and was informed that I would be charged a "higher" labor rate due to the fact that I brought my own parts and that Big O would normally make money from marking up the price of the parts. The higher labor rate was to replace the money they would have made from marking up the repair parts. Charging an additional $20/hr for labor is ridiculous. Did it take a special mechanic? (Don't think so.) Did the mechanic make extra money? (probably not) I would have replaced the parts myself but figured I would use your establishment to save me from buying a special tool. In hind sight, I could have bought the tools and still saved money. If this is the way you treat a customer who is somewhat mechanically inclined, I can only imagine how an unsuspecting customer gets treated. Shame on you and shame on your business practices.

I arrived at 7:05 am for an appointment to have a vehicle inspection. I realize I was a little late, there were six people in front of me for various different services. I was told there was one inspection in front of me and my vehicle should be done in about 45 minutes. I watched as the six people on front left, then a "friend of Andy's arrived, so Andy took the mechanic off the inspection in order to get his friend and son in and out in less than 15 mins. At this point my wife and I were waiting over 90 minutes. I finally had to ask why all these people coming in after me were receiving service before me. The first "excuse" was there was only 1 guy doing inspections. The second "excuse" was the computer. Then I was told my inspection would be done in five minutes and at that point my vehicle wasn't even in the shop. I don't plan on ever going back. Worst customer service ever!
