Big O Tires

Took my truck in for oil change. Truck had oil dropping off bottom after service. Took it to car wash to spray it off and it stalled. Within the week, oil saturated starter failed and had to be replaced. Your Technician tore air intake hose during air filter inspection and did not disclose. Also left crv hose disconnected causing rough idle. I am out $350 for parts to repair your screwup plus my labor. Why in the hell would I ever go back?

This place is so ridiculous! I have no idea why we keep going here! My son brought his car in to get the oil changed and tires rotated at 9:45 and he was told it would be done in 2 hours because he had to leave for work at 2. Didnt here anything so at 1:30 we called and they said it would be 2 more hours so we had to find him a vehicle to drive to work that day! So I told him I would go pick it up when it was ready so we would have it for the next day! We never heard anything so at 4:30 I called because I was in Jefferson City running errands and was hoping to get before we left town! They said they were working on it then but they didn't know I was setting in the parking lot looking at the vehicle in the exact same spot where we dropped it off! Ridiculous!!! So I went home and finally went in at 5:30 to get it before they closed and paid and realized they didn't even rotate the tires!! Unacceptable!! All day for an oil change!!

There when we needed you: Last week my wife and I were in Jeff City for a Diaconate retreat and I found a very low tire on my Volvo S80 Friday afternoon just before the first session.We checked and found that we were just a few blocks away from the Big O Tire Center on Christie Blvd.I filled the tire and took it to them but it was almost time to close so we set up an appointment for Saturday morning and the tire was repaired and I was treated like a valued customer.I don't have any reason not to travel to Jeff City from Sedalia the next time I buy tires.Great people that took a lot of stress out of my week end.

The good... the people are seriously nice and helpful! Their customer service is really REALLY great!! THE BAD: EVERYTHING I have ever had them do with my vehicle has been messed up. I have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars and have never left without having to bring my car back. Wheels and tires weren't properly balanced (brought back twice), forgot (or didn't fully tighten) a lugnut on my second vehicle, installed a lift and forgot to install ALL the parts and CAME WITH THE LIFT, started making noises around the transmission/clutch and they told me to replace my steering pump and alternator, finally had my clutch completely replaced and now I'm taking it back (less than a week later) because it is also not right and started making noises the first time I drove it. I will no longer be using them but like I said, they're really nice.

we carried the car on a trailer! The parts are a hard to find. One hour later they had located parts in salvage yards and fixed the car! That was the fastest repair job I have ever experienced! You all are the best!! Thanks Steve Sachs

Had a brake job done, including new PREMIUM rotors and brake pads at the Big O Tire store on Jefferson Street-Jefferson City, Mo. in 2017 that offered a LIFETIME warranty on parts and labor. Job cost over $450 and mileage on the car at the time was 65K miles. This was on a one owner 2013 Nissan Altima SL in excellent condition with all maintenance records.. At about 30K miles the front end began to shimmy and we took the car into this store and was told the rotors were warped and it was because one brake caliper was sticking, even though we never felt any drag or felt any other sign of that happening. I saw the rotors after they came off the car and they were both smooth. Was told that they'd honor the warranty and replace the parts without any cost to us, but that there was NO LONGER ANY WARRANTY on this job. Not even the manufacturers warranty...They also used Duralast rotors from Auto Zone which is NOT a premium product to replace the warped ones... NOW- after 32K miles on the premium pads?, we have an inferior product with NO WARRANTY on our car. We dealt with service advisor-Andy.. I'll never step foot inside a Big O Tire store again and will pass along my frustrations with other friends who might ask where to go with car problems in this area....It also doesn't bode well with us that corporate won't see this complaint as on the next page asking us about the service date, we see a local number attached to who receives this review...

The customer service and work done on my vehicle was great. However, I am 95% sure change (quarters in particular) was taken from my car. I am not 100% certain though, which is why I did not bring it up to an employee. I remember looking at my change compartment before I dropped the vehicle off, and there were many more quarters before the drop off than after. Because of this, I do not feel comfortable taking my car to this establishment anymore.

Ling time customer. Dropped off a trailer to get the tires balanced. Dropped it off in the morning and came back late afternoon to get it. They had completely forgotten about it and tried to tell me "not quite done yet." I asked them if they had even started, the sales person said no. This is the not first time this has happened to me. But it will certainly be the last time as I will never go back to big O tires for anything.

Absoultely LOVE your customer service reps, especially Andy. Andy does a fabulous job of explaining any issues and charges. We have a 16 year old daughter as a new driver that I can send her to Andy and know she will be taken care of completely. Thank you for such great service for our whole family!

I bought 60,000 mile Cooper tires in October 2015. I had about 40,000 miles on these tires, but was informed during a safety inspection that two had to be replaced. I was under the impression that my tires were rotated every time I got an oil change at Big O Tires. This was not the case. The person I dealt with did not offer an apology or offer to assist me in a purchase. I took my business elsewhere and I will not return.

I've been going to Big O for years. This particular team moved from across the street and hired on some new guys since I was there last. I would like to give a shout-out to Andy John Joe (alignment) Jake (balance & rotate) Darryl Kyle (oil change) Kudos guys!!!

It took 1 1/2hours to do an oil change. That's why I didn't go to Walmart. All I got was sorry they had to order my filter and it went to two different places

Will go back for tires for my wife's car in a few months.

I had to stop on the way home and put air in my tire after it was suppose to be fixed.Then we put some air in it to take it back but the tire wouldn't stay up, so our neighbor fixed it for us. After waiting for 4 hours to get it fixed.

On my way from Osage Beach during a down pour at 6:00 AM on August 29 my dash warning indicated I had a rear tire going down. I was close to Big O Tire and pulled in. To my dismay the store wasn't open yet. I waited until 6:15 AM and saw a light come on inside the store. Inside I saw one of the supervisors. I relayed my problem and the fact that my wife and I were on our way to a funeral in Iowa and had to make it by 10:00 AM that morning. He quickly had me pull in even though the store didn't officially open until 7 AM. A check of the tire revealed nothing in the tire and no leaks. He quickly checked all the other tires and aired all up to correct pressure. Sent me on my way at NO CHARGE. This was above and beyond my expectation. We made it on time. We will certainly be doing business with Big O Tires. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
