I had to have a new battery installed. Dave explained the battery was 7 years old and had reached it's maximum lifespan. They replaced it with a new battery and was done in less time than what they estimated. Great job, Dave!

These guys are awesome! Ryan Douglas is especially our favorite!!! Since moving here from OH, I've NEVER had to visit a tire store so frequently in my life. But every single time I come in, Ryan has not only taken care of our vehicle, but provided peace of mind for us and our family. Excellent, all the way around!!

Again the team out did theirselves I was getting an inspection and was showed a leak I had. I also needed brakes which I had done. My vehicle passed but I chose to get the brakes installed that day. A+ in my book. Thank you very much

I have owned several vehicles myself as a single retiree & I can say in all sincerity that I was given xlnt svc at Big O on Bolger Ave. Independence, MO when my car was recently given a routine maint. check up & the coolant was changed which had been recommended to me by Big O after my prior visit in Feb. 2018 for maint checkup. I bought the vehicle Sept. 2008, it has 18,500 mi. driven by only me. My first experience with Big O which was then known by a different name was in Nov. 2017 to have a new set of tires installed, the original set having failed totally the day prior on my way home from a church bazaar. I was lucky not to have been in an accident & I had had the car serviced just a few wks prior & all 4 tires were rotated at that time by the dealership tech. where I had had my car serviced since purchase. Needless to say, that tech should have told me my tires were unsafe at that time & he could have sold me a complete new set of tires then & there. He did not mention the fact that the tires were rotten & due to fail which could have been fatal to me & others & a law suit for the dealership. When all this became known to me by the roadside assistant, I was extremely angry & still am. I went to the dealership & told the service mgr. about my bad experience & inexcusable failure by the tech to tell me what was the state of my tires. I am pleased to say that my experiences at Big O have been much better & I have been pleased with the manner in which the techs have explained to me what they felt was necessary & even to show me the faulty part, i.e. the cabin filter was dirty, etc. My recent experience was outstanding in that I was informed of a newly discovered leaking shock on driver's rear, the car was lifted up & I was shown the leaking fluid which had just happened recently & I was told to get new rear shocks ASAP. I expressed my dismay at an additional cost for repairs I had not planned on, since I am on a fixed income & have to budget carefully. I was told that Big O does provide a finance plan i.e. 6 mos. same as cash if paid in full, with good credit. So I will plan to do that in the next few months. I do not drive the car that often, but it is crucial to my life & I am hoping it will last as long as I do. ??I want to give a thumbs up to the techs who worked on my car, Jeff explained what was going on with the shocks, & the receptionist was very helpful as well. I have spoken well of Big O to family here & out of state, & friends. I appreciate being given information & the techs at Big O have taken time to show & tell what needed to be done. I am still in the learning process & appreciate being treated with dignity & respect. Thank You, Big O.
