The price was fair but after returning home I noticed the two front tires were installed with the tread pattern in opposite directions. The correct way should direct water away from the center of the tire to prevent hydroplaning, but one was mounted with the pattern directing water to the center of the tire. I was also told I needed an alignment, and they offered me one, but informed me it wouldn't fix all of the angles. What would be the point if I need to take it somewhere else to fix the issue and then pay for another alignment.

I was in the waiting room and I decided to get up and walk around and I noticed my car was done so I've could have been sitting there for a few minutes or a very long time if I didn't get up to walk around

CAME IN FOR MY 145PM APPOINTMENT TO GET MY OIL CHANGED AND TIRES ROTATED. WASN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED. THEN 45 MINUTES LATER THEY PUT MY TRUCK UP ON THE RACK. WHY DID I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? NO DISCUSSION ON WHY MY TIRES WERE NOT ROTATED, SO I HAD TO ASK. ALSO TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD START THINKING ABOUT NEW TIRES. THERE ARE 60,000 MILE WARRANTY TIRES BY B.F. GOODRICH THAT ONLY HAVE 23,000 MILES ON THEM. THEY COULDN'T EXPLAIN THAT ONE EITHER. I DID THE LINCOLN PENNY TEST ALSO AND SAW NO HEAD.

They did not try to sell me any thing beyond my oil change-nice!

1. My car is acting the exact same 2. I never heard anything about a free alignment check. 3. The lady only came off as a salesman milking me of all my money. 3. I waited 3 almost 4 hours for an alignment and never got called when my car was done. I arrived after calling twice with no answer to my car sitting in the parking lot ready for me to take back. Huge waste of time. My car was ready 2 hours before i arrived.

In the past I have been happy with the service I have received but this time I was very disappointed. I went to buy 2 new tires and have a Missouri car inspection for tags. When I made my appointment I chose tires based on the information provided for the make of my car, I was not asked to put in my tire size, it was just there so I assumed it was correct. When I got there I was told my car needed a different size of tire and of course it cost a lot more than the quote. Also, I was not shown all my choices of tires for my size so I could choose a less expensive tire. I knew I needed new windshield wipers, but went ahead with the inspection. I was told that I needed a new ball joint which on my car needed the control arm replaced as well since Chevy used rivets to attach the ball joint to the control arm. I was told that it would cost an additional $510.00 to do this repair. I was told that my car would not pass inspection until the ball joint was repaired and new windshield wiper blades were put on the car. I explained I would buy my windshield wiper blades myself as they were going to charge me $44 for 2 wiper blades which we all know I could buy 2 at WalMart for $10. I also explained that I knew someone who could repair the ball joint so I left with the yellow copy of my inspection sheet and told them I would be back when the repairs were made. I bought the control arm ball joint assembly from O'Reily's and then went to my friend's house who has been working on this 2011 HHR and my 2008 HHR for years as I still own both. I was shocked to find that he felt the ball joint was not bad at all, he did every test he has ever used to see if the suspension problems are due to a ball joint needing replaced. He also rides in the car all the time and has never heard any noises that would alert him that the ball joint needed replacing. I went ahead and had him replace the part since I had already purchased it, but now I am concerned that "just because I am a woman" I was taken advantage of by your service person. In addition to that, I had paid to have my car aligned, and even though the service person knew I had to have my ball joint replaced, he went ahead an aligned my car anyway knowing that because suspension work needed to be done my car would have to be re-aligned again after the repair was made. This also falls under the "I am just a woman" to stupid to know that I was being taken advantage of scenario. First, I never have any repairs done on my car without first referring to my friend who does all my repair work expect for tires, alignments, and things like that. I do not trust service repair men as I have lived with this "I am just a woman" mentality my entire life and it has not gotten any better even in this day and age. I was sad that it happened yet again. I have the old ball joint assembly and am going to have it looked at by someone who teaches auto repair, I am a retired teacher, and do have friends, to tell me what he thinks. I haven't decided whether to just let it go, post everything on Facebook, including a copy of the yellow did not pass inspection slip, report it to the BBB, the Missouri Attorney General, or write an Onion Letter to the Big O Tires corporate offices. I am thinking that doing all of it sounds like a good idea.

My experience did not begin as I would have liked. The tires that I wanted and were promised the day before we're not available. But the dedication and the care to get me what I needed and on my way, was exceptional. Especially the two women behind the desk, that I'm disappointed to say that I can't remember their names, they are the one that turned my one star experience into a five-star day.

One downside to my visit was they said they checked all my fluids but they did not add washer fluid. I don't know if this fluid is part of protocol but it should be if it is not.

While the staff apologized for the wait, I still waited almost 2hrs for a oil change Store stated they were having trouble receiving online appointments. Store seemed understaffed so when customers came into the store, including myself, you had to stand around and wait for someone to show up. A few times I had to tell new customers where I saw staff last so they could go look for them

I had picked out four tires from online that listed as in stock, when I got there they were not in stock and had to get higher priced ones, that still needed to be ordered form another store.

The first set I had them order Friday were not in the warehouse. I went with a different brand of tire instead. My appointment was at noon, and it took them 3 hours to put on 1 set of tires. Not only that, I saw at least 2 other people who got there after I did that were taken care of before I was. I do not appreciate having to wait this inordinate amount of time when I had made my appointment days in advance.

I went to the blue springs location. It did not have tires that fit my car. That location reached out to the independence location, discovered that they did have tires that would fit, and set up an appointment for me. The lady that was at the counter in Independence was friendly and talked me through some options. I appreciated the service.

Dropped off a single wheel and tire. A replacement tire was ordered to be put on by the next afternoon, when my wife would pick it up. I was called the following morning, say that the tire was there and would be on the wheel and ready for pickup by 4:30pm. When my wife arrived, nobody knew anything about it. The old tire, still on the wheel, had been leaned against a wall and forgotten. My wife and daughter waited for the tire to be put on, after they finally found what I had dropped off. Everyone was friendly enough. My attempt at keeping my wife's inconvenience to a minimum was unsuccessful do to the operation of this facility. They had their chance, I won't be back...

Paid for alignment, had to bring back next day because steering was still off, had then balance and re-check alignment. They used the wrong wheel weights on my aluminum wheels and steering is still off center

Came in for oil change and to check on a slow leak in a tire. Both done well and inexpensively.
