Called for oil change, said to come in. When I arrived they made an appt for 10am the next day. I came in 15 min early and waited for 30 min before they told me they didnt have my oil. I heard them calling around to other stores asking for my oil, finally had someone bring the oil which turned out to be the wrong oil. They gave me a higher grade oil for the same price of what I already paid but I still didnt end up leaving until noon. Over 2hr wait for a planned appointment. Annoying!

Box 32697 Palm Beach Gardens Fl. 33402 Ph# 561-383-3000 Ph# 866-834-2652 - On 03/06/2020 I Michael Ransburg called Big O Tires on 4011 S. Bolger Rd. Independence, Mo. 64055. I asked the representative who answered the line, if Big O Tires sell Michelin tires. The representative who answered the line said: "Big O Tires does sell Michelin tires but they would have to order them, and it would take by the end of the day to receive them. On 03/07/2020, I drove my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 to Big O Tires located at 4011 S. Bolger Rd. Independence Mo. 64055 I wanted to get a set of 4 new tires mounted and balanced on my truck. When I arrived at Big O Tires, I spoke to Kayla. I told Kayla that I wanted to put 4 new tires on my Dodge Ram 1500. Tire size 275/60R20, that was parked outside the building. I also told Kayla that, I wanted the best tires that Big O Tires had to offer. So Kayla walked me over to some tires that were behind her to har left. She showed me the XL Nitto Terra Grappler G2 BW tire. I told Kayla that, I liked the tire, and wanted to purchase 4 of them, and have mounted and balanced on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. Then Kayla and I walked back to the counter to process the request. After Kayla got all of my personal info. She told me that, "the Big O tire recommend a wheel alignment check with every new tire purchase"�. I asked Kayla if there was a charge for the alignment check? Kayla said: "It depends on how severe the alignment was. I told Kayla: "let's get the alignment check done and if it needs to be corrected. Then I approve the extra charge for the alignment. Just let me know how severe the alignment is before the work is performed. Kayla advised me that it would take about 3 hours to mount all four tires. I told Kayla; I will leave and she can call me at: (816) 723-4867) once the tires have been mounted. I also gave Kayla a second contact number at: (816) 368-7830) About three hours later I received a call from Big O tires; Per Kayla. Kayla advised me that the tires have been mounted on my Dodge Ram, and was ready to go! Note: She didn't say; "Mounted and Balanced."� Kayla advised me; The technician recommended replacing the following parts, which will cause improper wear and tear on the tires, and may have an effect on the warranty. Control arm w/ball joint, on the right side, and the left side of the truck. Remove and, replace the, F Control Arm - One side LABO Remove and, replace the, Lower Ball Joint. Remove and, replace the, Inner Tie Rod End. Kayla advised me that the total cost for the recommended repairs would be $1501.97. I told Kayla; "That I could not afford to make those repairs right now"�. I just want to have the tires Mounted and Balanced for now. I also advised Kayla, that I was on my way to Big O tires to pay for the work done on my truck. I arrived at Big O tires located at; 4011 S. Bolger Rd. Independence, Mo. 64055. I spoke to Kayla who advised me that the technician has to change the lug nut on the right front wheel, due to the lug nut being stript. I asked Kayla, "why didn't anyone call me and, let me know about the lug nut being stript and that it needed to be replaced. Kayla said; "I'm sorry for not calling you, to let you know about the lug nut being stripped, and it needing to be replaced. Then Kayla and I walked outside, so she could show me which lug nut was replaced. I noticed that the lug nut was almost twice the size of the original lug nut. So I asked Kayla; "Why didn't the technician put the correct lug nut on my truck?"� Kayla didn't have an answer for my question"�.. :( But responded by saying; "what we, (Big O tires) can do is...Apply the charges from the lug nut, to the wheel alignment, or use the charges on your next visit to Big O Tires. I asked Kayla"�"�What if I don't want to come back to Big O Tires any more?"�....Then what? Kayla did not give me an ans

Bad Day? I scheduled an appointment online for 0800 this morning and arrived 15 minutes early, needing an oil change and tire inspection and possible alignment due to uneven wear for tires purchased from you. The inspection went rather quickly, and I approved (2) inner tie rods and rear brake pads & rotors, with an estimate of 2-3 hours. The timeline degraded badly after that. I waited in the shop until 0915 with no communication from the staff. I checked at the counter and was told tie rods were on order. I accepted the explanation and walked a few minutes to McDonald's for breakfast. I returned at 1100 having no communication from the store about any delays. I peeked in the bay to see my car was sitting with the hood closed and another vehicle on the ONLY alignment rack. It turned out that car had battery trouble and for some reason could not be moved from the rack, to get my car completed. The other customer even acknowledged they came in AFTER me. I accepted your staff was waiting on the correct battery, but at 1145, I was still waiting. Ten minutes later I was told they would be moving the other car "soon". THIRTY minutes later (1225) I see my car on the rack. Yay me. Still no word from the staff. Finally at 1240 I was told my car was completed. Question: Why no communication regarding delays? A quick phone call would be nice. I could have found a ride home to be productive. Suggestion: Your technicians could get MUCH more done with another alignment bay. Customers would then be on their way much sooner with less time to commiserate in the waiting area. Billing: I was not informed of any special pricing or discounts, other than the signs posted about a $50 rebate on $500 charges to the Big O card. The website shows offers for 1) $50 off $199 services and 2) Basic brake service $99.99 per axle. Your $35 Shop Fee also seems excessive. How about a discount? This was not my first bad experience at this location. I hope it's my last. Thank you.

Made an 8:15 am appointment for my vehicle for oil and filter service. Arrive at 8:10 am and was told it would be less than an hour to complete. I walked over to get something to eat at a nearby restaurant and went back at 9:20am for my car when I saw them driving my car in for service. It ended up taking 2 hours to get an oil change and I was told there was some mix up. Why do you take appointments? I'm still really upset about this and may never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Within The last two times ive been in, ive had oil changes and an alignment. The first occurrence few months ago had alignment and oil sevices, did not do Tire rotation, i wasnt in mood to hang out longer. So just other day went for oil change, rotation. Was happy with service and got home before checking tires, that i made marks on, were not rotated. Drove all way back, and was told repeatedly it was done by desk and tech. But wasnt. Im very easy to deal with. Apparently didnt check first time. They then did rotate. Im not ever a negative person, just that expect whats been agreed to be done. Everyone has bad days, etc. no hard feelings, but just inconvenience to both partys. My travel and your techs workload. Thanks

Terrible customer service under cover wasn't replaced right had to take back 3 times still wasn't done properly. Manager tried to not be held responsible just don't take ya car there

When i walked in, and spoke to the person at the desk, he gave me an approximate time. I left, came back, and they were done. Very polite. Service was better than i expected.

The service at the counter by "No Fear" girl was great. I had a slow leak and I wanted an oil change. I left the car there for an hour and half. When I arrived there did not seem to be many cars there. Two in the garage. And only two customers waiting. I waited a half an hour nothing had happen. So, I went over to WalMart and shopped at a very slow pace. I returned after the car had been there and hour and a half. The car had not been moved from the parking lot. I got my keys and drove off. I had to go to work and it has been difficult to handle having a flat during the weekend as I also work 9 to 6. So, I will have to change the tire with my spare to get the tire fixed tomorrow. Big O is a big zero in my book.

It does no good to take these surveys as last time my review was not good and I received no response. This time was the same. I went to buy a tire, I had chosen one online, there was no notification that the store did not have it, when I got there I was told that tire was not in stock, and for my tire size which the clerk told me was a fairly standard size, I only had one choice in stock. It was take the one option the 39th street store had on hand or go some where else. I needed a tire so I bought the tire which was a lot more expensive than I wanted. I won't use Big O Tire again.

I ordered a tire for my truck and it was delivered the next day. When I was called saying the tire was in I asked if I were to bring the truck in to have the tire put on how long it would take. "Hard to say, depends on how many people come in between now and when you get here". I left immediately and was at the store within 15 minutes. I asked how long it would take. "Hard to say!" I asked can you give me a ballpark? "Maybe an hour to an hour and a half". I asked is that when the truck will be done or when you can get to it? "Hard to say". Knowing I'd have to pay a 25% restocking fee if I walked out, I had to stay, almost as if being held hostage. I will never do business at Big O Tires again.
