Big O Tires

I always get treated well when I come in to have service done on my car. When my wife brings her car in, the customer service is not the same. She always has to wait several hours for her car and the front desk is not very respectful toward her. The last experience may very well be the last. No sticker for next service and change oil light not reset. Also not entirely sure synthetic oil was used as requested.

The staff was very helpful and got my car in the same day to get a full set of new tires.

There were customers waiting outside a few minutes before 8:00. There was a person sitting at the desk reading the newspaper instead of opening the door and greeting customers a few minutes early. At exactly 8:00 the door was opened. Then a line of customers formed due to not opening a few minutes early and getting started waiting on people. When my car was out of service, I had to come ask if it was complete instead of having my name called. Definitely not the same level of service on Saturday as on Friday.

Outstanding. Very knowledgeable and attentive

The store manager, Ty, always remembers my name, which I'm pleased about. My main complaint about the Elko store is I always have to wait a long time to get anything done, even when I show up at opening time, and when my truck is already in a bay. It seems they could be more prompt or possibly hire more mechanics. That's the main reason I wouldn't refer someone; the wait is always longer than it should be.

Every time they have worked on my vehicle they have ordered wrong parts. In this case they were replacing the opposite axle to the one they replaced a few weeks ago. CV scores to not fail that fast, had they checked it out they would have saved me a lot of downtime.

It took over 2 hours to get a pair of tires. Nothing was said to me about a long wait when i brought my truck in for tires. After 2 hours I went up to the service counter to find out what was going on. They checked & told me it would be about 10 or 15 more minutes. The owner did give me a discount on the tires because of the long wait, which was a nice gesture, but it took more than twice as long as I expected.

Service was prompt and thorough!

The only complaint I have is I was told that my wait time to install four new tires after my truck entered your shop was approximately 1 hour after 4 hours I finally had received my truck and paid my bills but I missed my granddaughter's basketball which I could have made it too if I could have made prior arrangements knowing that the wait time was 4 hours vs 1 hour that I was promised.

Big O in Elko has very friendly employees, fast service, and is helpful.

I had issues this time. I dropped my wife's car off for an alignment around 3:00 on Tuesday. I had just finished installing new CV axles, ball joints and brakes. I explained that my wife worked at H&R Block across the street and would be off at 5:00. We live in Wells and I didn't want her driving it home without an alignment since the ball joints had been replaced. I was assured that her car would be ready. So I left and drove back to Wells. She got off a bit after 5:00 and her car hadn't been moved. She had to wait an hour and a half before she got her car back. Secondly a few weeks ago we had Big O replace the struts and shocks. There has been a lot of clunking in the front end. Visually it appears to me that the cups on top of the strut towers are not properly tightened down. I brought the issue up, but my wife was unable to relay what they had said other than nothing was wrong. This comes after I had 4 new tires put on my truck and a lug nut was left off. I'm trying hard to support Ty and Big O, but it is difficult at times.

Always excellent and worthy of trust

oil change was as expected. however i do have Big O tires on all of my cars and thought they were being rotated when i get the vehicles serviced. but i looked at my front tires yesterday and found they are cupping. so i will be back in to request a rotation soon. these tires are way to pricey to have this happen. but i do like your product.

Still doing a great job on my vehicles for over 20 years

The service ticket was printed at 4:11 PM, about 35 minutes after I arrived for an oil change. I had some popcorn while I waited. At 4:43 I saw that my car was ready, parked out in the lot. 32 minutes is too long to wait without being notified that my car was ready.

It is always a great experience!
