Went to big O to get my wife's 2017 Ford Explorer oil changed on 9/6/17. Service rep said it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait because they were busy, totally understandable. I sat their for 3 hours with no update to why it was taking much longer or when it would be done. The service reps walked around updating other customers who had come in long after I did, presumably because they knew them personally. Overall poor customer service unless you are apart of the good old boys club. If I can't trust a business to come through on a simple oil change time-frame, I would not trust them to do anything else. I will never do business again with Big O tires in Elko. Poor service and an overall don't care attitude.

I work for a Government agency and Big-O in Elko is on one of our preferred vendors. I recently transferred here about a month ago with no prior knowledge of vendors/service in the area. I took a tire/rim in to have it replaced on Friday. 4 new tires were ordered and I was promised I could pick up that rim and new tire on Monday at 8:00am and the rest of the tires could be mounted on Tuesday. Several operational plans were made based upon the very expressed promise of getting the tire on the vehicle on Monday. Monday I went in at exactly 8:00am and at 8:11am I was told by a different sales associate that the tire had not been mounted. He showed me the rim whereby he accounted he did not know why it wasn't mounted and did not know what time they "...would get to it." This lack of fulfillment of promise of being third party contingent caused several linked change of plans and most certainly will effect both my personal and professional oversight in using Big-O in the future.

Waited for hours for oil change and not all the service I requested was rendered the guy went home didn't check the vehicles ball joints as I requested and the guy who waited on me up front was rude and surly,,, ridiculous customer service! If I could some answers I'd give a 0...

I asked for a brake inspection because I had an ABS light coming in intermittently. I was sold me pads and rotors which did not rectify the ABS issue. Returned the vehicle for a second inspection, and received no call back before closing, leaving my vehicle inaccessible overnight. Called the next day, and no one knew anything about it. Tech said he would look into it. Received a call with quote to replace ABS sensor. Went to pick up the vehicle, and they had lost my keys. Several hours later they found my keys, and offered to replace the ABS sensor art no cost. Returned the vehicle for this service, being told I would have it back in a couple hours. Received no call, so I went in to check, and they informed that they had ordered the wrong part, and wouldn't be able to complete the repairs until the following morning. I was assured that it would be completed by 10am at the latest. Checked several times the next day, and the repair wasn't compete until after 4pm. Overall, a very poor and frustrating experience!

I had 2 rear shocks replaced on my 2009 Dodge Ram. Customer service was excellent, Pricing was very good, The front desk associate offered me a ride home as the wait would be 3 hours, I found a ride home but was impressed by the offer. Everything was great. I have been coming to Big O for years and they are very trustworthy. I received a text when the work was complete, also done sooner than expected. Thank you!! My daughter Carrie had her oil changed 2008 corolla and snow tires off, and was very happy with the service also. I liked the text when work was completed :-)

My vehicle sat at the shop a week waiting for tires and an alignment. The day my vehicle was supposed to be ready I called to check on the status, I was told that the warehouse never ordered my tires, so I went and picked it up and took it to Les Swab to get the services I needed.

After the oil change, I checked the oil and the it was still low and dirty (black). I don't think it was changed. Will not be coming back.

I always dread going to this Elko location to get my usual rotate and balance because it takes them at least two hours. I knew I also needed an alignment so it was probably going to take even longer. Customer Service wasn't that friendly (per usual, kinda use to it now) two guys of the three working at the front counter were not busy and didn't bother to greet me, ask if I needed help, or tell me someone would be with me shortly. Once the guy who was helping a customer helped me, I was told it would take a couple of hours (of course), and left my number so they could call me when they were finished. I went back, without receiving a call 3 hrs 20 mins later, and my truck was ready. They didn't tell me where they had parked my vehicle, so I had to go hunt it down. It was parked in a vacant lot across the street, very weird since there was plenty of parking before and after I got there. Ok rant over. Lesson learned - I will not make my next tire purchase at Big O Tires.

Family has been going to Big O Tires for years. They're trustworthy, honest, helpful, and most of all thorough. And have great customer service and care. They're the only place I'll go to in town.

REPAIR WAS A BUST. I put $900 worth of new shocks and struts on my vehicle in anticipation and preparation of a road trip. I am now cutting my trip short by two days and heading back to Elko after I found my left rear shock just hanging in the air, the lower portion not connected to anything. I will be back in town today (Friday) and need to get this repaired ASAP to get my wife to the airport in SLC Saturday night. All of our Friday and Saturday road trip plans are being forfeited .

Rude, doesn't know the product, doesn't explain warranties. It would go a long way had big o explained how to protect my investment rather that withhold very vital information about how to keep the warranty in good standing. God forbid that in this day and age a man would decide to rotate his own tires. The store owner was an ass, very rude almost like he doesn't have the time of day and can't wait to get you out of his store. I will never shop big o again, ever. My father was with me and he walked away with the same conclusion. You just lost two customers!!

These guys always do a good job. For basic services they are experts and professionals. For repairs and such, they will estimate what the problem might be from my description, then they'll check it out and tell me what's going on before proceeding. I have never had a problem. Occasionally, it might take a little longer than estimated, but it's always done right.
