The bad: problem was originally diagnosed incorrectly, which led to us having to bring the vehicle back several times before it was fixed. The last time we brought it in they had the car for over 2 weeks. Communication regarding status of repair was very poor, which was my biggest frustration. One of the gentleman I dealt with (Alex), was very rude each time I called - he should not be in any position where he is involved in customer service in my opinion. Keep in mind I am in Reno and my son goes to school in Vegas, so I was dealing with this situation completely over the phone. The good: David, the manager, definitely stepped up and took ownership and finally got the problem resolved, at a significant savings to me. I am a department manager myself, and my owner's motto is, "If you take care of the customer, at whatever cost, you will never get in trouble from me." I am fully aware of how much work they did for me at little or no charge, and David went over and above to finally get this taken care of. We were coming up on the registration being due and needed the vehicle fixed so it could pass smog and my son was up here in Reno for Christmas break, so David even had someone drive it the required miles to reset the computer, and then had it smogged so I could get it registered in time. At this time, my son is on his way back to Vegas and we haven't even driven the car yet, so the jury is still out on the repair. But as of now it is smogged and registration is pending, all thanks to David. One of my ex bosses told me that even if there is a problem with a customer during the process, "finish strong" and make sure the last impression the customer has is a good one, regardless of the problems along the way. This is what happened in this case. Whether I will return to Big O, I'm not sure at this point, but I wanted to give both credit and criticism where it is due.

My husband made an apt for 9am and as of right now, 10:35, he still has not had his oil changed. We were going to bring my car next weekend, but not now we won't. This is the Las Vegas location on S Fort Apache.

I came in for an oil change with tire rotation and a break check. I was told it would be 20 minutes before they could start. Fine. I left my keys and went to lunch for 40 minutes, thinking it would be almost done by the time I walked back. I got back to the store and they hadn't even started. Nearly two hours after that a tech came in to check me out. I noticed on the slip that it said he couldn't find my tire lock, so asked if my tires had been rotated. He said no, he couldn't find the key. I asked him why he didn't just ask me, I would have told him it was in the glove box. He went out and came back in and said actually the air compressor had blown and that was why they couldn't rotate or check the air pressure on my tires. I asked if they did a visual inspection of my break pads, he said no, "he didn't bother since he couldn't take the tires off"�"�I asked if the pads I could see through my tires were my breaks and he just laughed. Another tech came in to process my payment and told me I could come back the next day for a free tire rotation for my trouble"�you see where my frustration comes from right? I sat in the store for over two hours and no one said a word to me. In fact when I tried to catch someone's attention, they actively avoided me. I'm disappointed because I've always had good experiences at Big O, which is why I chose to have my vehicle serviced there. Needless to say I probably won't go back, and I certainly won't recommend them to a friend.

My overall experience was amazing until they told me I needed to change my air filter and it would be $150. I took my car somewhere else and they told me it has a lifetime guarantee.

Daniel and Cindy are very great! Daniel helped me get the best deal for my tires and Cindy Met all of my needs as far as questions and service! Overall I'm very satisfied. Also the guys in the shop did what they were supposed to do they FIXED my problem! Thanks again guys and great job!

I was there to have my locking wheel lugs cut off and replaced also new tires. They did a gre as t job on the tires. The lugs how ever they told me are original manufacturer parts . They were not even close. When I said somethingto the Manger he said they were. I went to advance auto who laughed and told me they just match the studs . They are to long and wrong color. So Becarefu of the shop on fort apache .

They never rotated my tires I had special mark on one that's how i knew Then they didnt change my sticker

I was able to get a dead battery replaced quickly in 114 degree heat. I don't envy the guys who work on the cars outside in the bays! The service technician recommended some additional work on the car. I have to admit that I know nothing about engine pieces and parts, so I have to trust the person I'm dealing with. But my boyfriend wholeheartedly agreed with the service recommendations, and I'm having that work done today.

Wednesday, Nov 5 2019: I stopped in the branch at 3625 S Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89147, around 10am, and talked to John (store manager) about getting a tire repaired. Due to the nature of the damage, he said a new tire was necessary. He said that he would order it from the warehouse, and it would be available later that day. I called later that day, and the tire had not arrived. He said to check back on Thursday. Thursday, Nov 6, 2019: I called around noon on Thursday, and he said that they had the wrong phone number in the system, and they couldn't get in touch with me and they didn't have my tire yet. Friday, Nov 7, 2019: John called me later morning to tell me they had my tire. After I arrived at the store around 12:30pm and John took me outside to explain that they had wrong tire: John gave me the tire at no charge, and said that the correct one was on order. I explained that I would be traveling the following week, and that I would have to have it put on either Friday or Saturday Friday, Nov 14, 2019: Called and John said that the tire was in, and that Saturday would be good. Appt for 1pm Saturday, Nov 15, 2019, 1pm: Went in to get the new tire. Paid for mounting and balancing, and a warranty. Sunday, Nov 16, 2019: Noticed that it was not the correct tire. I called John, and he said he would order the correct tire. I explained that I would be traveling again, and that I would have to have it done on Friday or Saturday (Nov 22 or 23rd). While John was very nice throughout the whole process, and apologized profusely for the inconvenience, this is absolutely, completely unacceptable. I had a tire losing air from a previous patch. I had gone to another tire store in town and was told my tire could not be patched as the hole was too big. They said there was nothing they could do and I needed to but a new tire. I saw them pull this scam on another customer as I waited, and so I decided to leave and get another opinion. Your store fixed my tire good as new and said the previous patch was done incorrectly and used the wrong patch. I appreciate the honesty and service from Big O Tires and will be taking my MBZ GLA 250 to you guys for my maintenance needs going forward. Trustworthily companies and people are hard to find and I am glad I found this store and the employees who run it.

I usually go here for oil changes and if anything happens to my car, I see if they can do a quick fix or if I need major work. Honesty is what keeps my business. In 1 month I had to pay two $250 deductibles due to my vehicle having issues at different times that were unrelated, and even had to tow my car to carmax because it is cheaper due to my warranty. The manager or whoever he is at the front of the desk knew how stressed I was about finances when I brought my car in for the 3rd time, not even a week later for my blinker bulb going out. Not only did he tell me he'd have to order the part, but he quoted me $120 for the part and labor. I said "I can't just go out and buy a bulb and do it myself?" He said I could but may be difficult due to the model of the car. He said "you can by a bulb and come back and tip one of my guys $30" me not knowing better, I called my dad crying because that's still just another expense. I'm told by my dad to go to AutoZone, not only were 2 bulbs $8.75, they put it in for FREE!!!!! I WAS QUOTED $120!!!!! This person couldn't just tell me this? He couldn't be HONEST? He KNEW I was stressed and knew my situation. I will never go back here again. You couldn't just be honest? It took AutoZone not even 5 minutes. Trying to take advantage because I'm ignorant to cars and I'm a woman, I'm showing you my middle finger! I guess it's time I get more educated so people like this dont feel like they can take advantage of people like me. Shame on you.
