I was impressed by the initial customer service. I was greeted kindly. I had made my appointment for an oil change online and got a little click happy, so multiple appointments were scheduled. The rep handled it without complaint and honored my coupon even though I had forgotten it at home. At that point I felt pretty good. My car was running without issue, I just needed an oil change. When I got the car back after the oil change my seat was moved forward. I keep it all the was back. Not a huge deal, but it showed a lack of attention to detail. Then I noticed my oil light flashing when the car was idle. I tried calling the store number and got a message that the number is not available. It turns out my oil filter cap was damaged. Attention to detail is important! I won't be back.

You seem to always be significantly understaffed to handle the workload. Long wait times for basic services like oil changes is now the norm. This wasn't always the case, but more frequent now.

I had a noise while driving car sounded like someone pecking a hammer on the bottom of my car while driving. They looked at car and said I needed the outer tie rod replaced, so it was replaced. Still making the noise....then they said I needed the sway bar replaced so that was also done. Car still mad noise.....then the said I needed the struts replaced, that finally fixed the noise. So my concern is that the inner tie rod, sway bar being replaced really didn't have to be done at this time because it didn't fix my issue that I brought the car in for. I was standing there when they guy was getting ready to order the struts. A guy that was there for training in your store told him not to order the cheaper struts he wanted him to order the best for my car. I was thinking well maybe he was going to discount them or something because of everything else....I didn't see any discount on the final bill. Total bill for all this was 1,302.58. Before all this i came in to get brakes done. Without me listing everything here is Invoice #035017-6473, this work was done on 02/13/2018, and on 04/14/18 had to have wheel cylinder replaced for some reason not sure why, that was done at no charge. I also was having issues with the brakes, the right rear shoe had a chunk missing from the shoe and the right side the was cracking pretty bad. They told me they were replacing the brakes all the way around and it was done under the brake warranty. Now after i have driven a while seem like the wheel needs to heat up or something. But when I let off the brakes to go I hear like a popping noise coming from the left front brakes, and the brake light on dash will ding and light up at times. I took car in couple days ago the done a couple things and basically said they dont know why its doing it. The charge for all the brake work was $1,197.23. I don't feel like I should still be having brake issues. After a final bill of $2,450.45, I should have just considered buying a different car.

Couldn't fix the tire and didn't have the tire in stock. Im used to if this happens they can get it from another store by end of day at competitor brands i used prior to owning this vehicle. (i was there within 30 minutes of store opening). No, they told me i could go to Lexington to pick up the tire myself, or Dayton over the weekend, on the flat i drove in on. My third option; they could get the tire in on Monday "1 to 4pm" whrn i pressed for time. So no car all weekend, had to inconvenience my family to borrow their car so i could work, cancelling fishing plans for lack of a second vehicle. Hope you send out a second survey after you actually fix the tire so i can update the info on this mediocre survey because i was significantly less than impressed.

I went in for an oil change and a couple days later I had no oil in my car. All the oil in my car had come out and they came to get my car. Then told me the bolt to the oil pan was broken. That's why it's leaking. They never told me that monday when my car went in. So therefore they said it was my fault and we're gonna charge something ridiculous to fix it.

we have a '05 Nissan Altima. Big O/NTB replaced entire A/C 4-years ago. It went out again recently (compressor). Scheduled appointment and they repaired (TH). Next day the A/C was not cooling. Follow-up appointment required - they serviced & said it was fixed. Next day the A/C not cooling. Another follow-up appointment required. It was serviced. All 3 times the explanation was the freon amount was not the correct amount but all parts were working. The last visit they added the cabin filter was clogged and this affects air flow. They wanted to charge me $22 even after me returning the car 2 additional times for repair. It's the principle of the issue. They had removed filter and inspected. I told them to leave it out and I'd replace it myself. They reinserted the clogged filter. I took the car home (and I replaced filter myself). I expressed my displeasure about having 3-appointments and the inconvenience it caused. Big O managers did not offer any compensation for our time and multiple visits, not even an oil change or anything. Not good "customer service". I've been going to this location for years - I'm now looking for another company for future service.

Long story short.....the service was so bad, I had to call corporate. When I went back to pick up my car, the Store Manager told me " There is no Corporate, since the srores are all Franchises." Lee Robertson ( Store Mgr.) & Donald Lawson, are the two people that gave me the crappy service. I would explain my problem, but there is NO CORPORATE!!!

I was in for an oil change. The service order had tire rotation listed. I don't think it was done, the tire pressures weren't checked and the oil life monitor wasn't reset until I mentioned it. Some would wonder if the oil and filter were changed and if the proper oil was used .

Everyone I had contact with was very nice, did a good job and in a timely manner. I will use this store again. The manager told me about a special for people over sixty, a free oil change, can't beat that. Very good experience in with everything. Something is wrong with your rating data page, I put excellent for all four comments and it wouldn't take it, sorry. but everything was excellent.

Had to return within 3 weeks, all 4 tires required rebalancing. Paid $1200 for a set of Michelin tires that I like, the installation experience was terrible.

At first I thought I found a place to take my car for repairs and maintenance. I was so wrong. Can't wait to pay this credit card off because I will never use their service again. Never really inspected my car, gave me a 1,200$ estimate to fix parts and labor. I did it for 70.00$ shopping around, but if I was in a rush could have gotten the part from auto zone for 100.00. Would have gladly even payed 150.00 for part and 200.00 for labor so I wouldn't have to mess with it. Lost a customer by trying to rip someone's face.

They had great difficulty diagnosing the issue(s). Within ten miles of releasing my car to me the check engine light was on. Normally, they're spot on. I gave them an E for effort but I'm not a satisfied customer.

I got an oil change employee sat in my car and did not cover seat so he got black oil on my tan seat. So now who is going to clean this ok I went back today and John Castle was so helpful he apologized for how I was treated came out hisself and cleaned the dirt and oil off the seat and door. You should have more employees like him around

Pretty frustrated, tpms sensor supposedly needed totally replaced at 50 bucks however the new unit was a rubber stem instead of factory aluminum one. I now also learned that the valve could have been easily fixed for a much lower price and a more comparable looking stem. Will not be using this store in future. I own 9 vehicles, needless to say you are losing a chunk of business

Initially quoted 698.98 to replace struts and sway bar links. Dropped off my car on 3/23/18. Requested an oil change, and to see why check engine light was on in addition to struts and sway bar links. ( I happened to see the work order and it said $856 total. Nothing was reviewed with me in regards to pricing or services) Talked to Lee later in the evening and he informed us that the timing set also needed to be serviced. Told him I would call him back. Called him at 8:00 on Saturday 3/24/18 and informed him we would just like the struts, sway bar links and oil change to be done. Called twice on 3/26/18 to see when the car would be ready, and they told me they were waiting on parts. Was finally able to go pick my car up on 3/27 and was told my bill was $1293. I was never made aware of any change in pricing. While I do acknowledge that the parts needed for the struts for my specific vehicle (2009 pontiac G8) are not readily available, no one informed me of any difference in price when they had ample time to communicate that to me. While at the shop to pick up my vehicle we reviewed services performed and price. At no time was I ever made aware that an alignment had to be done when replacing struts. Luckily Donald was there and helped us get the price down a little bit(he was fantastic and should be commended for handling the situation as Best as possible) but we still paid $1,041. Now we have the car home and the front end is still knocking. I just called and will have to drop my car off AGAIN tonight so that they can look at it tomorrow. Other than Donald being so helpful, I'm am throughly disappointed in the services provided to us, and will never be back, or give referrals. We have been lied to, and disregarded by this company. It's a shame because I was hoping to make Big O my regular mechanic. I truly hope this gets resolved quickly because at this point I feel like I've been robbed.

I felt there was a lack of communication which impacted the quality of service. I requested an alignment with my new tires and wasn't made aware until I asked during checkout that they were unable to get the tie rods off so they didn't do the alignment. I also had my oil changed and ask upon check-in if they put windshield fluid in, I was assured they would, started to drive home, hit the cleaning fluid and it was bone dry. I actually returned and requested they add it. Customer service poor, no acknowledgement when coming in the door, even upon return, sat there while someone sat in the office, no one came to say almost done, or even hello. First time customer and pretty disappointed overall. I hope they were just having a bad night.

Came in for an alignment. They couldn't align it. My steering wheel was off center, truck pulling to the right. Told me I had to come back on a week day. I work! Finally had to take off work to come back in because my tires were so worn from being out of allignment and then go to FIRESTONE to buy $800 in new tires far before I should have. Extremely unhappy customer.

Cory

By Cory | 9/6/2019

This is the third time I have taken my truck in for the same allignment. First time they sent me away with the alignment seriously out. My steering wheel was turned. Truck pulled harshly to the right. I wasn't able to make it back in for weeks and it ruined my tires. Brought it back, they said it was aligned. Steering wheel was almost straight. Still pulled to the right but not so bad. Put new tires on it At Firestone. They did a free alignment check and it was way out on right front. Took it back to Big O AGAIN. I think they may have gotten it right but I'll need to have Firestone check.the work because I don't trust Big O tires.

I took my wife's Volvo in for oil change. I usually go to valvoline right next door but she wanted the teddy bear. Her volvo holds 6.1 quarts of oil. I paid for 6 quarts. When I got home I checked the oil and it was a quart low. There is a min and max line on the dipstick and it is right at the min. So I called and they apologized and said bring it next day and we will add a quart and give you a card for a free oil change. So yesterday my wife used her lunch break to drive 20 miles out of her way. They checked her oil and said it's in the range and we never fill it all the way. Valvoline technicians next door shows me the dipstick at the max line after every oil change. I plan to go back tonight after work and see if they will make this right. If not I bought a quart of oil this morning and will prove to them that it is a quart low. Very frustrating experience. Not worth the teddy bear although it is a really nice teddy bear.
