Big O Tires

I was warmly welcomed into the store, was told my wait was going to be quick-around 30 minutes. I was there for well over 2 hours. Received 1 update stating it would only be a few more minutes (1 hour later). Staff out in the shop, running inside screwing around. I do not appreciate the lack of control of employees in the shop. Nothing less than a day care being run out there. There is a reason I travel to Sandy to go to Big O. I will not be returning to the AF store.

They were very sensitive to my time restraints and gave me a ride home, offering also to pick me up; but that wasn't necessary. Quick work, as well...

My husband has had a bad experience with this store, I thought I would give them another chance. My daughter needed her car fixed to pass inspection. They told me 95$ plus parts which would be around 15-30 more dollars. 30 minutes later I get a call saying the part is now $100.00. Then 3 hours later they tell me the part didn't fit so I couldn't get the car until Monday. We get a call Monday saying it was so much worse that it will now be $500.00 to fix but the safety and emissions guy said that wasn't broken to begin with!!!! To late!! They already stripped it and we are now spending 500$ on a 120$ quote!!! Never again will I go to Big O for anything and I will spread the word!!!

I ran over a screw and my tire immediately went flat! I was across the street from Big O, so I drove over there to see if they could help me. When I pulled up at 6:20, I saw the sign on the door that said they closed at 6:00. I was a little worried, but immediately one of the guys came out, took one look at my tire and took my car right back without another thought! 5 minutes later I was back on the road! I was so impressed that they would take my car 20 minutes after they closed! Great customer service!

I took a car in for an alignment and also need tires. The mechanic did OK on the alignment, but when I tried to discuss new tires the salesman walked away and left me just standing there. I even called out to him and said I needed to talk about new tires. He didn't even turn around or acknowledge me at all. I waited a few minutes for recognition and then left the store. I bought $800 dollars worth of new tires that same day at Discount Tires in Lindon. Needless to say, I will not be visiting Big O again. Also, the next alignment I need, I will not be coming to Big O. Poor customer treatment is a business "death nail". Just so you can understand how much you will miss out on, I take care of 7 to 8 vehicles. 10 years ago or so I tried to deal with the same Big O store in AF and was treated about the same way, so it seems to be more that just a "one time" problem. Your front desk sales staff is not just bad, it is terrible.

I called to get a quote on an oil change and was treated poorly by josh. After asking if they take competitor's coupons and being told they do, the story quickly changed after mentioning I was bringing my own oil and filter because my car takes full synthetic. So the oil change went from 19.95 to 42.99 just because my car runs on full synthetic and I was bringing my own oil and filter. After getting the manager on the phone, he began to excuse how I was treated by josh. Very poor service. I wouldn't tryst anyone who lashes out because they "don't understand" when things were clearly explained.

The guys there are professional and do a great job.

Plan on half a day to have anything done. Especially an alignment. I made the mistake of buying the lifetime rotation, balance and alignment package when I bought my tires. Now I have to go back to this location every time and it literally takes multiple hours. Once, all they could do was rotate the tires and then send me home without an alignment. They told me I'd have to come back another day, and I had arrived with way more than enough time to complete an alignment. I mean like hours before close. So, if you must go to this location, pack a lunch and don't bring your children. You are committed to about half a day.

Two of the workers ran one car into the back of my car. I can totally understand that it was an accident and accidents happen. I would have been extremely understanding if anyone would have been upfront with me and just told me what happened but instead you tried to hide it without saying anything. To me that is extremely dishonest and shady. My car is already a little beat up and you tried to use that as an excuse to not tel me but that has zero importance because you guys still caused the dent in the back bumper. I would have been much more cool about the situation if you would have just told me and admitted fault but you guys tried to get away with it and that is pretty dang low. Because of this I wouldn't and I won't recommend anyone to you guys because it seems like you would try to get away with it again but I was lucky enough to just happen to see it happen.

The first time I brought my car in to get new tires they didn't do the job correctly so I had to bring my car in again to get it fixed

Ryan and his team are amazing!! Every time I go in he greets me by name and makes me feel welcome. I called beforehand and the tires that I needed for my new trailer were in stock. Walker helped me get new bearings and tires on the trailer while somebody else didn't alignment on my truck! They were quick and fast and very professional this is why I recommend American Fork Big O to all my friends and family!

I went in there the other day to have a simple alignment they told me it was going to be $92 like where do you get off and then they drive my truck up and down the road as fast as possible? Never going back telling me I need new parts and pieces but everything's already been replaced yeah I'm never going back to that store.

Ryan and Bryce were wonderful to get my van right in and working again so I could make my 1 1/2 hour trip home safely.
