Did not see polar bears... Haven't been out the past few times we have gone. Love the zoo overall

I love the Memphis zoo

Great zoo and beautiful animals. I love that this zoo has big plans and is constantly focusing on getting bigger and better. My family and I are members and renew every year and our comment year after year is the need for the train to go throughout the entire zoo property. I understand you have the tran now but it lacks the personality of the train. (Just our opinion!)

Memphis Zoo is a great spot to visit. Your best bet in the summer is to become a member and visit for short periods throughout the season. Anything more than a couple of hours will wear you out. We visited the Camel Excursion this visit. It was wonderful. The staff was friendly and easy going despite being hot and busy. The area was clean. Having a ticket sales person might have helped, but it ran very smoothly anyway.
