Memphis Zoo

I wish I could have seen more animals but hopefully next time

I loved it and it was my daughters first trip to the zoo. The zoo was fantastic but I think that the zoo should publish on its website and/or Facebook page when the school trips/field trips will be. Next time I will not stay if there are this many schools here. It was too chaotic!

Good zoo

This is a fabulous place. So glad we received a family zoo membership for Christmas. We didn't get to see everything so we will be back soon!!!

Memphis Zoo is a great place for the family.

A lot is still under construction. The staff is definitely not over friendly by any means. They could use a course on customer relations. The food is average but under average for the super inflated prices they charge. A lot of the exhibitions are outdated. The new exhibits are really nice though.

We did the Zoo Snooze with my daughter's gifted class from school. The two ladies who were in charge of our experience were very rude and condescending toward the children. Just because you end a very sarcastic reply to a child's question with "sweetheart" does not transform your response into one that is helpful or appropriate! I was just shocked at how snarky these two were with these intelligent, inquisitive children. These ladies may work well with animals but they should not be allowed to interact with children. A child's love for learning about animal life could be squashed permanently because of the bad attitudes of two zoo workers. Also, the accommodations were below any expectations I may have had. We were placed in a dirty classroom with two single stall bathrooms to house 50 people for a night. I didn't not feel like the experience was worth the $120 cost, at all!

Loved it

As with most zoos it would be good to see larger spaces for the animals. The tram was barely running so it was no help. The Rays were awesome. Overall a good experience.

Had a fun time, the weather was a little rainy so that effected it, but not anything to do with the zoo really.
