I normally get text verifying car. I got there and my name wasn't on the board. Told it could be 4 or more hours until vehicle available. Meanwhile the minivan model was sitting there promised to someone who was not there. Mgr eventually gave it to me. Returning car...again understaffed. As a gold member had to go inside and stand in line to return. Unacceptable

Car needed maintenance. Windshield wipers needed to be replaced, key battery low and car shuddered and almost stalled when I would slow down. Felt unsafe. Can't believe Hertz let this car leave the lot
