This is a great zoo, the best free one in the country. The animals are always easily visible, but also have a place that get can retreat if they want to get away. There was one zookeeper, named Erin, by the zebras that was very friendly. She took time out of her duties to talk to my kids and I. She was very nice and knowledgable.

Things were hard to find. More maps would be nice. The employee that sold me the icee was not friendly either.

It was great! A lot of the animals were sleeping or not visible at the time we went, but we had a lot of fun visiting those that were.

The zoo is not very big. It seemed like more than 50% of the exhibits were closed. Most of the staff I encountered was unfriendly and seemed like they hated their job.

Parking is a little expensive. Over all we have one of the best zoos I've ever been to.
