It's way too expensive. But you have good animals

I visited the zoo for a special Halloween event. the lines were ridiculously long and and it wasn't entertaining. all there was to do was wait in very long lines to either get into the event or get candy. no interactive events other than stepping up into an ambulance. why? is that supposed to be fun? and the only staff we came into contact with was a lady at a concession stand attached to a deck on the water and when me and my family tried to take a smoke break away from the crowds (trying to be polite) she was brash and rude saying things like "you can't just wander around and smoke" and "we clearly have this area blocked off to the public" and we would have never trespassed if the area was blocked off at all. there was not even a sign. luckily my son had a little fun in the fog and strobe light display or the event would have been a total bust.
