Better than the Detroit zoo. You can get much closer at the toledo zoo than at the Detroit zoo. Fun!

We had a great time from age 7 to 52. The Elephant exhibit is fantastic and also the new penguin exhibit. It'd be nice if feedings could be timed out - we saw one and it was great to see the animals being active. We drive from Oakland County (20 min from Detroit Zoo) and almost always choose the hour+ drive to the Toledo - very well laid out.

Good zoo! Less than ideal weather for it, but it's nice there. Love the new aquarium, for sure. Good times!
