I finally won some money!! First time ever!! It was so much fun!

I was a little disappointed in the food. We went for a friends' wedding and the chicken Parmesan was supposed to come with a creole tomato sauce but the waiters and waitresses said that none was prepared and the best they could do for us was ketchup.

We stayed there, but didn't gamble or eat there. I was there for a 5K and wanted an inexpensive place to stay since our regular hotel, The Remington, was way too much money. We were apprehensive because we had been to the hotel to play slots last year, the smell was terrible. We pretty much threw the coins in the slot and ran out of there. This time we were walking up to the property and you can smell the smoke and the ground was dirty and we didn't have high hopes but I had gotten a GREAT deal for the room price ($78.00)... However, it turned out it was WONDERFUL. I had seen reviews on Yelp where staff/check in wasn't nice, but our lady who checked us in was very nice AND let us check in a little early. We got a beautiful room that was impeccably clean, air conditioned and smelled wonderful. The room was smoke free and we didn't get a whiff of smoke past the second floor. It was a really nice stay, we'll definitely return.
